As a band, you have to change your sound after an album to keep most of your fans and gain new ones. Problem with majority of bands is that they do that and totally bomb it and kill what they stood for. Brand New may change the tune and style, but that message is still very there, and thats why I love them.

i'm not saying i listen to irrelevant music, i don't even think there is such irrelevant music. because somehow somewhere or somewhen else, there is someone who will or did feel the same way. ie. bad break-ups, love, and on and on..

what i'm saying is that there are songs that are timeless... and i think those are the "best" because they are the most relatable. but like i said, that's an opinion based upon whether you think a good song comprised of good notes, or good words, or maybe only both.

Everyone talks about how bad Daisy is. I used to think it sucked too. But then I compared it to everything else I'm listening to... It just sucks compared to old Brand New. Compared to anything else it's pretty good.

I mean to listen to daisy you have to be a patient listener, but I agree, it's probably their worst album but everything by Brand New is good. You're favorite weapon is my favorite by far
