My favourite song as a teen. Listened to it in bed nights on end and eventually this track on 'The Spirit Room' would pause halfway through. Hopeful and passionate and a 'should've been' hit. I like Patrick M's comment: 'Real men love this song.'

Michelle was great back then and she's as great now. She can do pop rock, country, and 80's synth pop. I will always be a huge fan of hers

This and "I'd Rather be in Love" tie as my favorite Michelle Branch song. These two are just amazing. I fell in love with song the moment I listened to it late at night when I was 14 - listening to the whole album for the first time, not just the singles. Brings back memories.
