My son died by suicide. The first time I ever heard this song I thought of Tony. I cried. Every time I hear this I think of him and cry. The worst sadness and tears overcome me. It is so hard to stop. This rendition of this beautiful song is so comforting even if I cry through it.

susan is honest, lovely woman with a an amazing sence of humour. shes very sensitive and emotional and sings like a goddess, very clear and sincere and humble. shes still stays in her council house. shes got good family.

I always thought this was a beautiful song and Susan Boyle sings it great. However, this is the first time I’ve actually paid attention to the lyrics and they describe the death of a person in a bad situation, cold hotel room, car wreck, bad life. It reminds me of suicide. I had a relative commit suicide in a hotel room so it hits close to home.
