Born Of Osiris - Shaping The Masterpiece Lyrics
I'm ready to go faster
Have you taken your seat
It's time we change things up
And let our impulse be the primary attraction
I'm looking at a disaster
The precious conveniences
Will leave us to only lose out faster
I've seen the blame at my feet
Allowed the evil to take me
Terminate the beliefs
That this is a masterpiece we're shaping
Embrace the slave ship
We are the undertakers
Taking Numbers
There is no direction from one another
Why put your faith in question
If you cant see whats within you
Take a second to enjoy this
Before it passes right before you
I clearly see why
There's no answer for me
Cause I'm falling asleep
At the wheel of discovery
Chasing a dream that out runs every being
You look soon enough
But you'll never start seeing
The meaning of mischief the reason we kill
The itch that's inside us to indulge in the thrill
The sound of freedom will ring through the air
When we decide to take charge
When we decide to care.

1:20 THE SPACE JUST BUMBED ITS SECRETS INTO MY EYES
that ending
still their best. one of my favorite albums
"I clearly see why
There's no answer for me
Cause I'm falling asleep
At the wheel of discovery"
That outro gives me such an amazing cyberpunk vibe!
any keyboard players on hear have a sample similar to the vocals at the end?
Omnisphere
2017 and i still love it. this album was their masterpiece!
same here, especially this song and regenerate
hell yeah!
Dream Walker This album was their Discovery.
3:33 ''Demande a ta mère, de venir me porter''
Dude this song is my fkin song every song on the discovery is my fucking song
Why is this album so goddamn amazing. I find myself coming back to obsessing with The Discovery after my country, rap, and Taylor Swift phase and this album never gets old.
Behold holy what the fuck
How the fuck do you devolve into that shit after music like BoO???
😂😂
"Take a second to enjoy this
Before it passes right before you"
They're talking about The New Reign, right?
The song that I listen to while I masturbate.
The message in this song is the best part. Lyrically, I think it's the most impactful of all the tracks on this album.
@Adam Ridley What do you believe that message is?
It could be different for everyone, I don't want to speak for the masses, but for me it basically said to give a shit, and to open my eyes. Or something like that, I know it sounds gay lol.
@Adam Ridley No that makes sense, that's what I make of the lyrics as well man. All of their songs have some sort of meaning that are conveyed so ferociously awesome
they have like the best electronics on this album. Hands down my favorite album of their's
What type of music do you call the outro/last minute and a half of the song? Don't just say techno or dubstep. I want to know the term down to the bone of the sub genre. Trying to find awesome music like that. That outro is better than any electronic/techno/dubstep/psychedelic music I've ever heard. Love this band
Try listening to Tipper, Kalya Schintilla, Kaminanda etc. I have recently discovered them and i can't get enough.
+Luke Black Kanye west - Power , Fall out boy might be of your interest.
check out Master Minded from israel
tomorrow we die alive was amazing i dont care what anyone says
It was no Discovery though.
Who cares? Born of Osiris is amazing it's hard to pick a favorite for me.
Did you guys listened to their last single? LOL
@Matthew Punk 2012 Yeah
Sean Tully it not hard. the discovery is them at their best
Boss song. Probably one of their best. Fuck that outro is better than any electro/dubstep music I've ever heard. Big props to their keyboardist. He really held the band together in Tomorrow We Die Alive
This is my favorite song by them
Does anyone else here think that the keys are a really big part to this song?
Hell to the fuck yes. Some juicy seconds there.
this album was too good..
please come to Birmingham, AL!!
for me, the difference between the discovery and tomorrow we die alive is that when you listen to the discovery it takes you on a musical journey of sorts, while tomorrow we die alive is more just different song ideas randomly put together. and while it has its awesome moments, it just doesn't come close to being as memorable or having any of the fluidity that the discovery has.
Tomorrow We Die Alive> A higher Place. To be honest I love each album equally. I love A higher Place, the EP, The discovery. They're all unique because they all have a different sound.
1:55-2:02 3
The Discovery > The New Reign > EP > Tomorrow We Die Alive
(◕‿◕✿)
The Discovery on shuffle is a sin
The outro electronic part is the Universe being synchronized.
I'm ashamed that I forgot all about this song its been a year
keep your all seeing eye open
Anybody else notice that the ending is the music from Legacy of Goku 2?
O.O that sounds so fucking majestic
3:57 I love that frogcore
vildhjarta isnt in sumerian records...
The best metal album in terms of technicality in my opinion. I can't think of anything that comes close to this. To this day I still haven't got bored of this album since its release.
I have to say this is one of the bests songs of this band, love the egyiptian sound, its like the return of the mummy lol amazing
this song is amazing and I love the outro
Then there's that vocal line The meaning of mischief the reason we kill... so fucking intense!
Thank god this album kicks ass again! Bought the one before and was disappointed as all hell. This one on the other hand is awesome! Just as good as the first one
1:40-1:48 \m/
Cannot be unheard...
3 07 to 4 40 is the best god damn piece to this track \m/
the electronic part around 3.20 reminded me of Metroid Prime Corruption... It's not filler, it's KILLER :D
IM READY TO GO FISHING! IF YOURE TAKING A SHIT!!!
you gotta admit that the chugs are pretty fucking cool when you find a new band ;)
have you listened to peripherys new album? lol not much djenting at all. more chords and riffage then anything.
Don't forget about Periphery.
They have maybe 5 good bands if that.
0:07 ARE YOU TAKING A SHIT!!!!
Veil of Maya's [id] is basically all djent
whoever the fuck made this is obsessed with world history and ancient civilizations
Living One Vibrational Energy
Borgore and Dead Letter Circus are good examples. (I love DLC)
they dont have that many "djent" bands. they have bands that occasionally "djent" i suppose, but the only legitimate band that uses djenting as a key element in their song structure, its structures. lol.
And not every sumerian band has a progressive aspect in their music lol. (asking alexandria for instance.) A label doesn't have to be just one genre of music.
Completely ignored what i said. I know there are metal/hardcore bands with progressive influence on sumerian. But a lot of them tend to overdo it with the whole "djent" trend. I want to hear actual notes sometimes, not chugging in super "technical" complicated rhythms. I am a fan of basically every sumerian band.
Dat riff @ 2:00 & 2:35. Would fit right into a zombie movie
youre so stupid. the haarp machine. the faceless, veil of maya, after the burial.periphery, etc. if youre trying to call sumerian a core label, or a hardcore label, youre so stupid. sumerian is a progressive metal label. every band, regardless of how not metal they are, are still progressive in their song structure.
/watch?v=dU149pSIjDI listen to this if you like the outro
Did not know that. But why? Something with the label I'm guessing.
They keyboardist does wonders for this band in my opinion
The outro chant (3:58 and onwards) is sampled from Memory Tapes - Bicycle I think. If you don't know him, go check him out, amazing artist.
/watch?v=SSRXbj-mYKc
From 3:20 until end and you can hear where it's from.
Wicked tune btw.
i want this song LIVE!!
don't fucking lie , you get goosebumps every time 1:55 hits
Perfect.
The outro when you're high ( or even not ! ) can take you away <3
Sure.. Whatever the fuck that means :D
calm the fuck down go and have sum its not like im an expert on every-fucking-thing, i like to have fun unlike you's who just sit about all day and just hates on people cuz you have nothing better to do with your life so, hate me i dont give to shits peace ^w^
lololol not even close to sounding like ;p
0:05 i'm ready to eat pasta!!!!!!!
watch?v=qzhsSxAjOTg Hi-rez uses the high voices at the end in his song. lol. interesting huh
the ending takes me on a journey through the spiritual jungle with higher beings calling down on me.
im playing super mario on my gameboy
fuck...I miss Jason :'[
They both only have like 2 or 3 good songs. The rest is just bland to me. same predictable "djent" riffs. But that is just my opinion, still a talented band.
Cmc is good but honestly have you heard [id] or eclipse, they're amazing.
Yeah a common mans collapse, but everything after that is boring.
veil of maya?
my bad dude I was supposed to reply to the other dude talking Spanish, lol anyways great album :P
planetcore, planetarycore, astrocore, astronomycore, spacecore, cosmicologycore, cosmicore, creationcore... The Core Of Creation HHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHA
They're playing Warped this year. Can't wait.
No hablo espanol
this is the song that was playing the whole time when they made the album
This is one of the few sumerian albums that i don't get bored of, because they actually shred and don't fucking chug majority of the time like every other band.
better than dropping out of high school for these guys and then getting fucked in the ass by them like it has happend to jason richardson...
"sounds from different metal bands from different genres"? erm... no.
The vocals are outstanding on this album but I'd like an instrumental of all the tracks too.
todo iba tan bién , hasta el min. 3:20 , ahí valió mierda >;(
every song you find sounds from different metal bands from different genres, this one reminds me of Job for a cowboy especially the vocals.
i dropped out of college so i can listen to these guys all the time.
@luukraver im doing both at the same time so its fine :P
Every song sounds better than the last on this album. Play in any order.... Guys/Ladies, really? How in Odin's name do you write and at the same time create such magnificence? This song is the must inspiring clusterf*ck, awe inspiring thing I've ever heard: until the next track ): ( Ha
@luukraver kinda hard to work on HW when busy headbanging.
