Bonoff, Karla - Somebody's Eyes Lyrics
When he set me free
He came to me
He came straight to me
Now he's gonna find
He is finally mine
I've got a feeling she won't let go
'Cause every time I think that we're alone
Somebody's eyes are watching
Somebody's eyes are seeing me loving him
Somebody's waiting to take him back again
Love is no disguise from
Somebody's eyes
Does she know how much
We like to touch
Does she know how much?
Does she know just how
I love his kiss
Does she know this?
Somebody's eyes are watching
Somebody's eyes are seeing me loving him
Somebody's waiting to take hi back again
Love is no disguise from
Somebody's eyes

don't sleep on the soundtrack-actually that's hard cuz it's bangin' all day, all night-1984, a great time to be a kid-great song/movie
Unbelievably underrated
My fav song on this soundtrack. On the cassette it was the second song on side 2. I speant the summer of 85 (?) listening to this soundtrack on Korri Smith’s trampoline laying out in the backyard. Oh, to be young again.
This song sucks so annoying
sounds like laura brannigan alot!!
I prefer this version over the broadway musical version.
This sounds so.... different and weirs from the musical version. I prefer the other version over this but this one is ok too. It's weird hearing the same tune, but with lyrics about romance and only one singer.
My ex loves this track and I do as well. Great times in life for sure.
Watching this movie for the 1,900,386 times lol
Why does this remind me of Shock the Monkey by Peter Gabriel?
Haunting tune! Great vocal! Tasty solo by Mike landau! Excellent!
Love this song!!!! ❤️❤️💋💋😘😘
Did they put this song on the radio?
Sadly, it got little to no airplay that I know of.
love 80's
whatever happened to Karla Putnam she was really a good singer of the 80s?
Can't get enough of this song! Drives me crazy.
take a look at my post about this song .... somehow, somewhere, there's a mystery.
Loved this song....
Just say the word i'll teach you dance fighting. This song brings back memories.
Can't stop listening to it
Wish Hollywood would leave all of the 1980's films alone and leave our generation of classics alone. Great song. 1984. What a terrific year for films. What's your favorite and it can only be 1 and why?
The BEST song on that album. I wore this part of the cassette out in the 80's. Ahhhhh the 80's I miss them. :(
I wore out at least 3 cassettes and 2 CDs of this soundtrack.
Quite possibly, one of the best 80s movie soundtracks.😎
80's music>>
Thanks :)
This song was played during the scene where Ariel and Chuck Cranston are in the woods, and they're...well...doing what high school kids now do.
Really? Well I have it on vhs I might have missed it.
Totally Agree.
Just finished watching the remake of Footloose (2011). The movie was okay but they totally missed it with the music. The original soundtrack was incredible and continues to be classic. Songs like this are so rare in this day and age. Most of what I hear on the radio is crap. '80s music ROCKED!!
He might have helped to write it....
Used to really like this song, but now that I hear it it has even more of a creepy, "stalkerish" feel than it ever did! lol
Too bad, bcos IMNSHO this song deserved better respect!
Where was this played in the movie ?
During the scene where Chuck and Ariel were in the woods....
Getting back to nature.😁
It was playing softly on a boom box in the background. Easy to miss.
wow.. have not listen to this in years... great song and movie... thanks for posting..
私の、なつかしい、すきな曲です。
cool tune from karla with a superb guitar solo by session supremo mike landau! overlooked at the time in favour of the main hits by kenny loggins and deniece williams! as good as they are this tune has a haunting quality!
One of my faves off the soundtrack! Love it. Can play it over and over.
this is a great a.o.r track!!
i agree
@MusicForMyFriends Finally Somebody Posted songs from the Original Footloose.
This song hit the Billboard Hot 100's Bubbling UNder, keeping this album from becoming only the second album(at the time) to have seven Hot 100 hits, with Thriller then-recently becoming the other.
I was shocked at the time this never hit the Hot 100. It's so typical of the sound at the time and such a great song.
she has a web site you no
as a what a be raper i would love to sample this song
The first 10 seconds is just like a trip back in time. It's immediate transportation. Greetings from Argentina! Love this OST and the movie,
@sonhun76 YEA I DON'T HAVE THE SOUNDTRACK BUT IT WOULD BE THE BEST AND MAY I SAY GOOD SONG TO SAMPLE
This song reminds me of Christopher Cross.
i only heard one line and thought the same thing. had to look it up.
Good observation, it does.
This song really strikes home. Wish it would get more air play. A real winner. Gerry in Asheville, NC.
Amazing!
