Bonnie Raitt - Fearless Love Lyrics

Come my love
Come bravely to me
Let your heart be still
For our time
Has come my tender one
To be free of will

And fly
Blind on fearless love
Let them wild winds blow
We'll shine
On all we're fearful of
Then we'll let it go
Let it go

Skippin' stones
Across the great unknown
Safe at water's edge
Don't look down, baby
We're gonna leave this losin' town
And leap out from the ledge

And fly
Blind on fearless love
Let them wild winds blow
We'll shine
On all we're fearful of
Then we'll let it go
Let it go

My favourite song from Ms. Raitt. I bought the album "Fundamental" solely, for this song. It wasn't easy too find, but well worth the effort. Such an intensely radiant song. Thank you Ms. Raitt and co., also to you Miss Cooper for a lovely video. I love tulips and the font selected is quite beautiful as well. Beautiful job. : )

Celtic Tenors cover on their album, Hard Times, is excellent and appealing.

This song was in the backround in a scene of a movie I love, (Sideways). Finally watched the credits and discovered it was Bonnie Raitt. Very surprised this song isn't more well known. Beautiful!

I'm a huge fan. I also heard this song in the movie Sideways. Now it's one of my all time favorites.

I have a similar story.  I'm a receptionist and would always hear this melody but not the words.  I had to stand under a speaker and remember 2 lines to google.  So beautiful and I can't believe I'm just hearing now in 2015.

+Lisbellina Ann - I did the same thing where I worked! I couldn't figure it out, then I heard it playing somewhere and (thankfully) my ex-husband knew what it was AND owned the CD. Well...he was good for something once in awhile.

For me it was the 99cent store. I knew right away it was Bonnie Raitt but I didn't know the title. I'd stand right under the speaker and write down key words like "Fly", "Let it go", "Let those wild winds blow", "Shine", etc. etc. I wrote down everything but the actual title! Then I'd come home and try to find the song on YouTube. This has been going on for years! The fact that this song hadn't been posted yet didn't help. Then, last night, I found a site called MetroLyrics and here I am! Thanks for posting this!

I adore Bonnie Raitt. I heard this song in the movie Sideways in the background and loved it. I watched t movie last night on dvd and was determined to find it. It is so penetratingly moving and beautifully written and performed.

Heard this song in the office elevator and actually stayed on past my floor. Cant believe I missed hearing this beautiful song made over 15 years ago.

i've been hearing this song everyday at work for the past two months on sattelite radio....only ever faint in the background....the melody had me hooked the first time i heard it....couldn't figure out who it was when finally today when i heard it again i said..."I need to position myself under a speaker"....when i found one and had a closer listen, i knew it was the lovely Bonnie Raitt......thanks for posting!

The same thing happened to me, I would always be in Food Lion grocery store and always here it faintly but with the noise around I could never hear the exact words until I found a really good speaker.....then I remembered the words and hustled to my car to type the words in my phone and look it up......I knew it was Bonnie Raitt but nothing would come up because I couldn't get the lyrics right but finally one day got it right, just about 3 months ago.....Im glad Im not the only one this exact same thing happened to

@carl smith I heard it in the vegetable aisle at my supermarket--I stood there, stunned, silently weeping, looking idiotically at my snow peas until I had enough bits of the lyrics to locate this song. I also recognized Bonnie Raitt, and I know I heard it before, but the mood and lyrics just spoke to me.

+_regine I'm glad I'm not the only person moved to tears in the drugstore or supermarket by a song. Good for you.

Have done this with songs before, too. You made me smile!
