The voice is great. Drums are boring, style is copied from older bands. The video is cheap but it's ok. The music is fine!

Bloodbound is a Rocking Swedish Power Metal Band formed in 2004. They released their first album Nosferatu, in 2005 and their second, Book of The Dead, in 2007.  The Members of Bloodbound are: Lead Vocals: Patrik Johansson, Lead & Rhythm Guitars: Tomas Olsson, Keyboards & backing vocals: Fredrik Bergh, Rhythm Guitars: Henrik Olsson, Bass: Anders Broman, and Drums: Pelle Åkerlind.  They rock really heavy, are cool, and epically rock. While this is one of the better new songs, it's still nothing compared to what Bloodbound used to be. The first 3 cd's were absolutely amazing. Everything after is either cliche or mediocre at best.

saw these live last night in Cardiff and they were really good love to see them again

I love Bloodbound, a lot. I got the signed Stormborn album (preordered it) because I had such faith in them to deliver... it's not my favourite of theirs. I like it, but it's not anything special.

Too much Tabula Rassa fanboys... and in my opinion it was their worst album. I love themes like Moria, Monstermind, Drop the Bomb, Screams in the Night, Book of the Dead, Midnight Sun or Flames of Purgatory.

Those are cool, but sound all the same, kinda generic, too. I still listen them, but Tabula Rasa and Nosferatu are my favourites. I've known this band for about 5 years now, and I've gradually grown to like Tabula Rasa the most.

@jonldavis All they'd have to do is make the characters look like they are actually walking and not just standing in place moving their legs in front of a green screen like in Blues Clues and animate the dragon better. Other than that, I agree with you.

It's not a Sabaton copy. Just have almost the same style. Is Astral Doors a DIO copy, Civil War a Sabaton copy, or every symphonic metal with female singer Nightwish copy??? NO!!! Just have the same style that bands have to bring across the time! There are have to be more bands like this!!!

Remember when Bloodbound actually sounded like their own band, had meaningful non-cliche lyrics and complex and unique song structure? 
Too bad that Bloodbound is gone.

@Harry Dresden No argument there. I also find it annoying how the current singer obviously imitates Tobias Sammet. It's like Edguy meets Rhapsody. Just... no.

If you think Bloodbound have been anything other than a third rate cliched power metal band since the beginning then you're dumb. They just have a handful of good songs.

This new vocalist has more in common with Eldritch than Sabaton. Go watch Eldrich's Everything's Burning video, then compare the vocalists. The rest of the music does fit more with Powerwolf & Sabaton as mentioned by everyone else.

Album has tons of SoI&F references. I think a majority of the album is influenced by the works of G.R.R.M.
