I love this, it's so chill.

I like the song in general, took me a bit to find it tho. The vibrato on the cords is a nice little touch, as well as the vocal harmony. Amazing voice there. All around a good song.

Sounds like a return to a more lo-fi experimental sound which was their bread and butter sonically many years ago. I welcome it. Can't wait for the new album. My eardrums anxiously await it's arrival...

+DarthVadim their dreampop/synth period was OK, so was their earlier no wave. But i like them for their weird lofi gothic of 'lemons' and 'butterfly' and its a very welcome return!

sounds like they've took a bit of that noise element from their 90's work and combined it with the more atmospheric inclinations they've been working more recently. i think it's a wonderful marriage myself. 

sort of shoegaze for a new era. 

@Scott Johnson Shoegaze isn't shoegaze without reverb. Layers and layers of reverb...

but shoegaze also encompasses a certain ethereal quality as well and i think it captures that particular feature well.
