Favorite song on the album. Sounds like it could be on Intimacy, or even a more polished Silent Alarm. Love the guitar.

I definitely wouldnt say crap, but I definitely agree with you that intimacy and this are better. What I got out of a weekend was a b nad trying to experiment but not accomplishing it or succeeding it. So they ended up sounding "off" or just an odd mix of their first stuff with what they wanted to sound like (intimacy). Intimacy is them finally finding the sound they wanted to create and succeeding. Sure it was totally different but it was a different sound that worked.

@julieandthebelangkas No way, Day Four sounds more like the sequel to This Modern Love, for me at least.

This is the first song I heard from this album and I was so blown away by hearing the kele's voice and the instruments together again. It reminded me of the first time I discovered this beautiful band, I was filled with an awesome, warm and happy feeling. Go strong!!! <3

I have to agree with you on the bickering about which album is the best. It almost seems as if people think the old songs will disappear. Personally S.A was my favorite albums, but I honestly have no problem listening to the tracks years later. In fact, I rather like hearing the progression of Bloc Party's albums. With all that said, I can't say that I'm in love with "Four." I felt that certain tracks simply fell short, and with slight changes could be mint. But after all, it's just art intheend

there were good songs on weekend hat stood out to me as kruzeberg n sunday. intimacy took at least over a year to grow on me This song is really good right now my fave off this album (which im having a hard time enjoying just lie everything after silent alarm...im sure it will grow on me)

I really didn't feel that S.A. was their best album. Yes it definitely got me into Bloc Party, but I found that A Weekend in the City had far more emotion and even Intimacy was more emotional. Perhaps that's what i'm looking for... emotional music. I hate bickering about which album is best from X or Y artist, I think what's important is exactly what makes Bloc Party's music so wonderful, it appeals to so many different people for such a variety of reasons.

I've always liked bloc party. I've always liked how their music was punk/indie rock and i just don't hear too much of that in this new album. it's way to different from the other albums. don't get me wrong, it's still very good but it's not what i want to hear from bloc party.
