hope you got rights to the footage from Ray Harryhausen! The creator of the original animation. Some how I can't imagine you did as Ray wouldn't care for this "Re-Mix" but I on the other hand found it well done and pretty original on its on.

The video, to my eyes, is putting forward the notion that the modern age, the age of machines and surveilance, is destroying the past. Not the past as an actual place, but the past as we imagine it, and as a place from which to draw meaning for our contemporary age. It is saying, through destroying the fairy tales that previous generations have grown up with in the West, that all we have is the present, and the present is ugly, war torn, and meaningless--or, like, whatever.

The video is great. The song is almost alright but I just CAN'T STAND the way he says 'fighting lies with lies', it sounds so forced and insincere. It makes the chorus sound like it's cut too short and ruins the possibility of it being especially catchy.

you have to admit they're getting closer to rave music though. and with songs such as mercury its no suprise people are having second thoughts on this band. however I do actually like this song upon second hearing. but I would greatly prefer it if they would go back to songs like helicopter and banquet ect. just my opinion, which I'm expressing
