I got the new album: Legacy of the Dark Lands, and i can safely say that the Story of Arthur (the main character from Beyond the Red Mirror album) goes beyond the Red Mirror. ;D

The first minute reminded me a lot of Cirilla's story.

Probably because both Witcher's saga and this album draw some inspiration from the Arthurian legend and reference it a lot.

+Amerrack Hunter A lot of Blind Guardian's songs are based off of Books, and they sort of theme themselves as travelling storytellers. For example, Wheel of Time is about Robert Jordan's Book series, and Another Stranger Me is the curious case of Jekyll & Hyde. The lead singer describes this album hence; "A story between science fiction and fantasy. [...] The two worlds described have changed dramatically for the worse since then. While there used to be several passages between the worlds, there is only one gate left now: The Red Mirror. It has to be found at any cost."

+Erick Marshall If you want to listen to Tales then go listen to Tales. If they did the same music they did in the early 90s it would be boring by now.

+R0DisG0D Am I the only one who would say that blind guardian sounded best in the late 90s and early 2000s? A night at the opera, imaginations, and nightfall... Those were the best in my opinion. But I'm also very glad they've made sure to keep evolving.

I'd say Somewhere to Opera was their best phase, but this album doesn't fall short of that era in my opinion.

I loved this band since I've first heard them in the 90s. If I were to go to one of their concerts, I'd probably drop down and cry.

i thought I'd never, ever be a fan of metal. then i discovered that there are a bunch of different flavors of it, and I really like this band.

i guess its one of those from ochard music that is only awailable in Japan (i do lp's, some with music so i know those problems) e.g. the song "white death" from "sabaton" is only awailable in Japan.

it wont work in Germany eather (also we have a lot more videos and songs blocked then the most countrys)

Love the album, but in this song the guitar seems kind of empty a bit. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the song, and love the album.

@Daniel Smyth I think if the guitar was more prominent, it would take away from the Grandiose feel of the song......if that is what you were referring to. That's a pretty big orchestra to try and compete with. Just my opinion. Cheers.
