Why do Beau's vocals in some of the songs of this album sound like Chester of Linkin Park? idk... Awakening is still the best of the best to me

There's just something missing with this album. It's like they took their foot off the gas. There isn't a song like "You Wear a Crown But You're No King" that grabs you by the throat. There are a few good songs on here like "Decayer" and "Walk On Water" but I was hoping for more.
