Jeff - I agree, but sadly the music industry are blood suckers. They only want image posers and flashy so called artists. Bands like Black Hawk, Restless Heart, Little Texas, Alabama, etc. wrote great lyrics and played some great songs with substance. I am a heavy metal musician, but Im also a Texas boy and you cant get the country out of a Texas born...it is imbedded into us from birth. God Bless Texas and God bless all our true southern country bands.

BlackHawk is an American country music group founded in 1992 by Henry Paul (lead vocals, mandolin, acoustic guitar), Van Stephenson (background vocals, electric guitar), and Dave Robbins (background vocals, keyboards).[1] Several backing musicians also performed with the trio; however, these backing musicians were not officially part of Blackhawk until 2008. The are still touring - the same guys as The Outlaws.  Van passed a number of years ago but Henry put the two bands together and so Dave is now in The Outlaws with Randy, Chris, Steve, Monte, and Henry.  They are fabulous - go out and see them - check tour dates on their two web sites.

These guys are still out there kickin it go check them out they're worth the trip
