This is an absolutely gorgeous and heart-wrenching song. Never thought I'd say that about something with Ozzy Osbourne on lead vocals, but this is an amazing and underrated-as-hell song.

On another note, this almost kind of sounds like a precursor to Revelation Mother Earth from Blizzard of Ozz.

This album strikes me as a clear preview to the first two solo Ozzy albums, which isn't a bad thing at all. His first two solo albums were great and on par with the first six Sabbath albums. It's different from the sludgier sound of the first six, but that doesn't make it any less hard hitting or the musicianship any less top notch. This song's style evokes "Revelation (Mother Earth)" to my ears.

I first heard this song in 77 while in the army. Came home on leave to find my girlfriend got married. I've hunted for this song for years and at the age of 60 I found it yesterday. My god did that bring back some hurt but its her loss. Thank you Ozzy love the words never thought you could wail like that I told my wife he sounds like he's crying for this woman.

My biggest let-down about this album was the original recording quality, poor then, and poor now, and even this youtube video version sounds about as good as anything that was ever released on several hard copy versions. I purchased them all, haha. But this song, it is so great :)

Yes ...this is a great song. Hauntingly beautiful. It's some of the other songs that sunk this album. Tony Iommi and his violent and controlling temperament ultimately is what started to cave in the song writing during the late 70's ....even during the Dio years.
