Black Sabbath - Rock 'N' Roll Doctor Lyrics

Well I'm sick and tired of hearing 'bout the world and it's hang ups
Gonna get myself together, take a ride downtown
Gotta see my Rock'n'Roll doctor
Gotta see my Rock'n'Roll doctor
Gotta see my Rock'n'Roll doctor
Gotta see him, see him today
He's gonna blow me away

He makes me happy when I'm feeling down
Take away my worry takes away my frown
Gotta see my Rock'n'Roll doctor
Gotta see my Rock'n'Roll doctor
Gotta see my Rock'n'Roll doctor
Gotta see him, see him today
He gonna blow me away

If you wanna feel groovy
Give the doctor a call, yeah
Doctor rock will help you anytime at all
Gotta see my Rock'n'Roll doctor
Gotta see my Rock'n'Roll doctor
Gotta see my Rock'n'Roll doctor
Gotta see him, see him today
He gonna blow me away
Oh, right away...

This was the first Sabbath album that I discovered, back in 77 or so. Man, does this bring back great memories! I went back to collect the earlier records, too. I know many Black Sabbath fans don't like Technical Ecstasy, but I've always thought it was a great album. In fact, I think Dirty Women might be my favorite Sabbath song of all time.

    だがしかし

This album is my favorite. I bought the first album of Sabbath, too.

  14. Robert Whitlow

A prescription for cheer, no pharmacies included. Possibly addictive, no side effects.

    Bill Collins

Least ya know wat your gettin ,unlile.a lotta new fangled, shit they have to replace it js

  15. Shawn D

Is there a way to put this song on repeat without having to manually start it over again?

Am I the only one that enjoyed this album all the way through, I mean, yeah it’s not as heavy as their previous albums but I still think this album is pretty solid.

    17 year span. MANUAL

    r for d

  23. Zepron

This album is very bright which honestly is a nice change from the usual Doom and Gloom of the first six albums.

  24. Martin Wilhelmsson

I want to be a Rock n' Roll Doctor. Having a bad temper and struggling with anger? The Rock n' Roll Doctor recommends a dose of hard, heavy and abrasive music everyday - You will be as cool, mild-mannered, harmonic and kind as me.. haha 😉😎

    Keeva says hi

Mr. Doctor man I don't need your surgeries but I'm pretty sure that's some good advice. (by the way I made a palaye royale reference which has nothing to do with it but palaye is cool if you wanna check them out they arent metal there rock but anyway. I was trying to be funny. I'm not funny.)

  25. metafis

The cult used this riff on their electric album 10 years later.

    Jane Lambie

Sabbath have been inspirational to so many of today's bands... You'll hear influences in many of today's rock rifters....

  26. Adam Red

Once I thought Technical and 13 are their weakest, but I must say I'd really miss this one If it weren't there. Its a great album to be honest, anyone should give it some time

    The Miz75

    13 is weak...no bill

    Bill Collins

    Technical yes 13 ..........
    No

  27. Angelo Luna

2:47 - "wheels of steel" Saxon

  28. James Grigerek

    pkj77

    Seventh Star

"You Won't Change Me" should get the same response then (also has some of the older expected Sabbath heaviness).

  37. Henry Minjoot

The only track I like from a very awful album.

    Brian Bingham

    You are awfully wrong.

    Zepron

Okay okay so it's not gloom and doom like master of reality but it's still a catchy album, listen to dirty women you may just change your mind
