Black Keys, The - Everywhere I Go Lyrics

Well everywhere I go, ain't got a thing to do (I got a thing for you?)
Well everywhere I go, ain't got a thing to do (I got a thing for you?)
Now little baby, now let me tell you what I'm goin' to do
Now little baby, now let me tell you what I'm goin' to do
And everywhere I go, ain't got a thing to do (I got a thing for you?)
And everywhere I go, ain't got a thing to do (I got a thing for you?)

Damn, this song is so much better than every title on their Turn Blue record. I hope they return to their roots. Turn Blue is just pop crap compared to this.

  26. C.... 1....

listen to it by junior kimbrough, he does it great too

    C.... 1....

much better I would say...Junior Kimbrough - All Night Long

  27. R.... M....

This song reminds me of last year during the cold months how i used to take trams and trains around the city and through suburbs. I used to just look out the window and it looked depressing

  28. r.... ....

Driving headlong into a thunderstorm. Turn this song up loud....

  29. L.... Z....

these guys don't gotta be mainstream they're n who they r

  30. T.... M....

This is my favorite song the Keys have ever made. It just sounds so... eerie. In an emotional way, that exemplifies blues perfection. This makes me picture myself wandering in a desert, endlessly. Each roll of the guitars being another step in the sand. And yet the eeriness, it still feels somewhat peaceful to me.

    T.... M....

+Tucker Michael that's probably close to what Junior Kimbrough had in his head when he wrote the song ;) The Black Keys did a superb job with the cover, payed homage quite well.

    T.... M....

    aw yeah

    T.... M....

    BCdWG has

  31. c.... g....

yes! that's true! US best rock'n'roll band from our times

  32. S.... C....

Transverse must be one of those sit at his computer all day fudge packers. He probably can't play a chord and I doubt he knows what brushing his teeth is like

  33. t.... ....

I cover this song in my band. We play all our favorites off big come up, thickfreakness and rubber factory. They clearly lost their soul after brothers. The last two albums are not far from Katy Perry

    t.... ....

    So what.

    t.... ....

Different from each album? Their last three albums are incredibly similar. The only progression is how pop-inspired each new offering sounds.

    t.... ....

    @bullmilk

Brothers, El Camino, and Turn Blue sound nothing alike, aside from maybe 2-3 songs.

    t.... ....

winning grammys means your music is good? lol

    t.... ....

El Camino was certainly not up to par, but Turn Blue is amazing!

  34. S.... I....

Can't believe this kind of music isn't the mainstream

    S.... I....

+spunky xetron You overestimate the mainstream

    S.... I....

    Makes you wonder.

  35. M.... D....

Those are The Black Keys that I like. New album by them is crap. I am very disappointed with new album

    M.... D....

I don't think it's crap but I really do miss their old style I feel ya

  36. F.... ....

I heard this in a bar last night & immediately pestered the person sitting next to me until I found out the name of the song & who performs it, thankfully they were able to tell me right away.

    F.... ....

+FatMat426 I'm glad you were able to pester them until they told you right away. Wait, what?

    F.... ....

    hahahahaha!

  37. U.... ....

You just gotta Love Southern Rock.

    U.... ....

@Jarrod Evans I was talkin' this specific Songs. There is much Variety within a Genre. All those you named are Southern Rock, but most of them were in the Mid 60s to Mid 70s with their Sound. Eras change Sounds.

    U.... ....

+UnexpectedWonder no way this is southern rock. Blues, this is blues. I'll accept delta blues, but this as bluesy as blues gets, especially since this was orginally written by longtime bluesman Junior Kimbrough.

    U.... ....

@Benny G Have you Listened to much Southern Rock? Blues is more specific than people wanna give it credit for. Yes, it's bluesy. That doesn't mean that it's in that Genre though.

    U.... ....

Well, this is a Junior Kimbrough cover - so that would make this specifically Hill Country Blues. In fact it is played very similar to the original record. Do you listen to much blues? If not, then you can start with Junior and other Hill Country bluesmen like RL Burnside:)

    U.... ....

@Sriram Natarajan Yes, I Listen to the Blues alongside almost every Genre: B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, and more. Cover...Many Songs are Covered in Different Genres.

  38. S.... P....

Damn this is good! almost as good as the original man

    S.... P....

what do yo mean with "original".?

    S.... P....

    Junior Kimbrough

  39. S.... T....

  40. S.... H....

Love this, and rubber factory, I love early Black Keys.

  41. B.... ....

This is the blues. Its junior kimbrough duhhh

  42. C.... B....

    hell yeah its sexy

  43. L.... ....

i feel cool as fuck listen to this

  44. C.... ....

  45. C.... ....

I'm a White/Brazilian my fathers from Wisconsin who has Germain descent who met my mother in Brazil while in the Peace Corp and thank god to him shared his precess vinyls I have a high appreciation for all music. The Black Keys stirred something in me I haven't felt since I was child since heard Led Zeppelin while I was kid. Love all of The Black Keys songs.

  55. R.... ....

  56. C.... ....

    Amen brother

  57. E.... A....

Makes me wanna grow out my beard.

  58. G.... ....

I agree, but some songs are good. What about Lifehouse? Snow Patrol? Karmin?

  59. 3.... ....

When some so called music is mysoginistic, hypersexualized money driven crap it is bad. A good bit of the music being released today is superficial unsubstantial junk to make a quick buck and achieves nothing more than objectifying women, and glorifying material worship.

  60. G.... ....

I like rap, classical, hip pop, rock, soul, blues, country, alt, electronic, the list goes on. Just because you like this music doesn't mean the other music is "bad"

  61. S.... ....

Why is this song so badass?

  62. H.... ....

Seriously, listen to whatever you want. Your taste in music will always change as you mature. There's no "good" or "bad" music. Some people like the instruments, the technical aspects of songs/artists, the vibe, the dancing, the videos, the lyrics, the fashion, the more artsy appeal, the lifestyle portrayed, or whatever. Stay patient, optimistic, open-minded and try making your own music first before you start bashing others.

  63. M.... F....

Ignore the hateful comments. Most of us are here to enjoy the music presented before us. Lets just keep it positive.

  64. P.... R....

ohh i´m a kid and i wanna play blues like the old guys,,,,
    just a bunch of faggot´s

  65. S.... Z....

Hell nah brothers, I can hate on people for listening to "nicki manage a trois" or "Justin Beiver" and not even feel the slightest guilt about it. serves 'em right lol

  66. D.... M....

  67. S.... ....

  70. P.... ....

    aj prestanite srat

  71. r.... v....

So you wont help him get exposed to this music? like jack white said, Blues can be anything. even rap music. Its not a genre, its a feeling. Eminem, mobb deep, Wu tang clan. all these great rappers all had a struggle and thats there way of expressing themselves. Rocknroll will always be my love but i still believe in all types of REAL music with soul

  72. S.... T....

..what's this tingling sensations i'm feeling, in between my legs..

  73. J.... B....

Also, listen to their work on Blakroc? Your bro might say it's nothing you'd ever play

  74. B.... ....

That slow, hard hitting intro. Fucking-A. <3

  75. I.... ....

Très génial! êtes-vous ecoute de France?

  76. b.... ....

why do people go crazy fighting on youtube, over things that make no difference?! Listen to the music. That's what you came here for. Trolls!

  77. t.... ....

    C'est juste génial !

  78. A.... L....

Say that to the justin believers

  79. D.... T....

    Well said, good sir.

  80. J.... ....

Just shut the fuck up and listen to the music. Y'all are bitching for nothing!

  81. P.... G....

"cars all break down differently". would you choose a Ford Pinto, or a Mercedes- Benz? It is precisely like that with musical taste. It is not subjective, it is an objective thing. Some music lacks quality, some does not. It depends on whether the soul likes quality, or sloppiness in their music choice. That much is subjective. But musical quality is an objective thing.

  82. P.... G....

Taste is simply a recognition of quality, so when people claim that taste is subjective, what they are really saying is that 'quality' is subjective. Few people, however, would argue that the quality of a car or an athletic performance is subjective. This is because the criteria for judgment is very clear in those cases. If an effort was made to discover and structure that makes up music, one can make an assertion about the objectiveness of musical styles.

  83. S.... ....

has Mos Def in right? Hoochie Coo is the name of it for people who don't know. I like it, my husband clicks to the next song tho, well we like Dans vocals part, it is beautiful...

  84. J.... D....

I dig it. I love it. I feel it. If any music makes you feel this way, then fuck it. Dig it. Love it. Feel it.

  85. e.... ....

I love the Black Keys, but music is subjective. You like what you like. You can't hate someone for liking something, or even being, different. That being said...if you don't like the black keys you're a dildo.

  86. J.... S....

and already starting a fight xD

  87. K.... G....

Who the hell says Poser anymore anyways?

  88. M.... C....

I guess you could say, you listen to it, "Everywhere You Go" :3

  89. B.... S....

Whenever I hear this song I imagine Hemingway and Clint Eastwood bare-knuckle boxing in a bar in the middle of death valley and I'm behind the bar drinking whiskey straight from the bottle. Gotta love that feeling.

  90. M.... ....

There's some good rap out there... Eminem's not half bad, he's a pretty talented rapper there's no doubt about it.

  91. m.... ....

great is over used by emphatic fans. its good, just leave it at that.

  92. J.... S....

its funny how people only argue in the comment section :D
but they cant just talk about how great this music is

  93. M.... H....

thats just being snobbish and thinking you have better taste in music. when the reality is that music is art...art is subjective. therefore you're taste in music is not better or worse. is just different your opinions, your perceptions. i happen to like eminem. and i happen to like the black keys.

  94. T.... ....

If I ever direct or star in a movie, Dan and Pat are writing the WHOLE score AND soundtrack..

  95. D.... ....

i wonder if he ever stopped

  96. A.... R....

happened to me over and over again
