This is my favorite song the Keys have ever made. It just sounds so... eerie. In an emotional way, that exemplifies blues perfection. This makes me picture myself wandering in a desert, endlessly. Each roll of the guitars being another step in the sand. And yet the eeriness, it still feels somewhat peaceful to me.

+Tucker Michael that's probably close to what Junior Kimbrough had in his head when he wrote the song ;) The Black Keys did a superb job with the cover, payed homage quite well.

@Jarrod Evans I was talkin' this specific Songs. There is much Variety within a Genre. All those you named are Southern Rock, but most of them were in the Mid 60s to Mid 70s with their Sound. Eras change Sounds.

@Benny G Have you Listened to much Southern Rock? Blues is more specific than people wanna give it credit for. Yes, it's bluesy. That doesn't mean that it's in that Genre though.

Well, this is a Junior Kimbrough cover - so that would make this specifically Hill Country Blues. In fact it is played very similar to the original record. Do you listen to much blues? If not, then you can start with Junior and other Hill Country bluesmen like RL Burnside:)

I'm a White/Brazilian my fathers from Wisconsin who has Germain descent who met my mother in Brazil while in the Peace Corp and thank god to him shared his precess vinyls I have a high appreciation for all music. The Black Keys stirred something in me I haven't felt since I was child since heard Led Zeppelin while I was kid. Love all of The Black Keys songs.

Seriously, listen to whatever you want. Your taste in music will always change as you mature. There's no "good" or "bad" music. Some people like the instruments, the technical aspects of songs/artists, the vibe, the dancing, the videos, the lyrics, the fashion, the more artsy appeal, the lifestyle portrayed, or whatever. Stay patient, optimistic, open-minded and try making your own music first before you start bashing others.
