Bird, Andrew - Desperation Breeds... Lyrics
Beekeeper sing of your frustration
In this litigious breeze
Of accidental pollination
In this era without bees
In this era of thieves
Who keep stealing respiration
From the tenderest of trees
This peculiar incantation
Sure you heard it before
Instead of breeding desperation
Make me a pallet on your floor

like a blue eyes for dream dream so much..a dream like the sky.
I love how he plays the violin in the same way a bee buzzes towards the end on the song. Brilliant
Pretty sure that's the theremin.
this is truly beautiful
I love this song it's super relaxing.
but does it matter
rileyvanderzee no!
Those violins... amazing.
Quite possibly the most beautiful song ever
eventually the world will die, entropy makes that inevitable
u fell asleep watching .. Andrew Bird is a single human
no this is not April J...this is her mother!!!
turning my sista on to some AB....knew she'd love it :)
I am a new fan. I saw him live at Jazz Fest and immediately fell in love. This song stuck out to me the most. He's excellent! :) Very underrated
That first note. The very first hit at 00:01. It's almost like the sound of realization. That there is something....out there. Something waiting to happen and you can choose to search for it and possibly change your whole life. Or you can choose to sit back in your arm chair and forget of such a notion. That one note has always been so powerful in my eyes. That one note.
Andrew bird, you fine soul.
that is true, but he was referring to andrew bird as the band's name. Not tryna be a hipster know-it-all.
well, he has a band called the bowl of fire. they helped with this.
space is calling me! uplifting and refreshing. I CANNOT STOP LISTENING-best part @ 4:00
This song is like hearing Nature breathe, it's just perfect. Speechless. The whole energy of it is so mystifying. I just love it.
Jizz in my pants *_*
You clearly have no idea of what peace is... or what bacteria do... The reason why you are healthy and able to absorb the nutrientes in your food is because of bacteria so be grateful for those evil microscopic havoc-makers. Also UnidentifiedCause is right. We have brought disorder to Earth's peace, with destruction of habitat, abuse of resources, overhunting, speeding up the exctintion process, modifying the planet's climate etc. The world without us will be what it should, just peaceful chaos.
It has some notes from Anonanimal in there for sure, possibly others. I love what he did with sweatbreds in Dark Matter and totally agree that it's way cool how he keeps refashioning his music anew.
it sounds other-wordly. almost as though the music was eminating from the cosmos. i like it.
A few moments after the world is destroyed by our ever capable hands, when every man and evil has eventually moved on, with most traces of our existence and vain achievements wiped out, the world becomes still again.
Just as the dust settles, penetrating the eerie voidness is "Andrew Birds desperation breeds" (all mother nature would have as companion) emanating from a 1927 radio transmitter lying on a dusty rubble.
Only then shall the world know peace...
Twinsat getlost .......I cry
it's not a band
What's a Colbert Report?
been a fan forever, when I heard there was a new album out i knew it would be awesome... He's just soo far under the radar an thats ok as long as music like this is made we shall all remain content with that fact... If your new with Andrew Bird then you'll def- appreciate his old stuff
yes, andrew bird is a good band.
this man is brilliant. i recommend his album "armchairs" and the "mytserious production of eggs". perfect summer driving music for just relaxing and letting loose in nature. he's a true musical talent and genius. can't wait to buy this album. he lives on a farm outside chigaco to be close to nature- it inspires his music. he has said that he chooses lyrics more because of how a word sounds than worrying that the words make sense together on paper.
One of the greatest opening tracks ever! Im stuck on this one
saw this on the colbert report and i really like this style of music!!!!
@15tsubasa I suggest a mysterious production of eggs.
I just finished watching the Colbert Report and thats how I discovered this band. I think its good ^^
Love the echo-ey effect at the begnning
I like it!
The whole album is absolutely amazing, this song is an excellent choice for the commencement of the album, really spectacular.
the solo is amazing, and what is that crazy/awesome effect like 4 minutes in?
This is amazing
