Billy Ray Cyrus - Over The Rainbow Lyrics

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There's a land that I heard of once
Once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true

Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why, oh, why can't I

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh, why can't I

WHOA! THAT WAS FROM "THE WIZARD OF OZ" (1939)! I have one of his music CDs. "Over the Rainbow" was originally performed by Judy Garland in the classic movie during the 1930s up until her death. The song was covered by other artists including a few girly artists such as Jewel but it was given to Billy Ray Cyrus in 2007 also (when he performed it to his daughter, Miley Ray Cyrus, whom she is about to fly over the rainbow to a concert in Houston, Texas via airplane).
