Big & Rich - Live This Life Lyrics
Met a man on the street last night
Said his name was Jesus
Met a man on the street last night
Thought he was crazy till I watched him heal a blind man
Watched him heal a blind man now I see
I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Then I will walk yes I will walk
With patience through that open door
I have no fears, angels follow me wherever I may go
I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Met a girl in a chair with wheels
But no one else would see her
Met a girl in a chair with wheels
Everyone was so afraid
And she just spread her little wings and flew away yeah
I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Then I will walk yes I will walk
With patience through that open door
I have no fears, angels follow me wherever I may go
I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Met a kid on a bridge last night
Contemplating freedom
Met a kid on a bridge last night
And he said
I'm tired of this maddening life
And I'm ready to go meet Jesus
And I said he's a friend of mine
Met him just last night
And it's alright
Yeah it's all right
Yeah
I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Then I will walk yes I will walk
With patience through that open door
I have no fears, angels follow me wherever I may go
I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore
Live here anymore
Met a man on the street last night
Said his name was Jesus
Met a man on the street last night

I feel stronger each time I hear this song
I cant listen to this song without crying every time I've been struggling with depression for a long time now but I've been too stubborn to let it stop me from living and so my emotional torment gets buried or bottled up but whenever I hear this song i cant help but just let go....
This song defiantly has some strong emotions. Dude, good for you. Depression is more than just a struggle, but even so, keep making an example for those of us who are just trying to get by. TBH it always makes depression seem a little more .. handle-able when others are able to manage life with it. sorry if this sounds like a stupid comment.. just needed to hear what you had to say rn.
@Austin Davis I fully understand hang in there we'll take life head on one day at a time
I met my boyfriend and I am in a wheelchair and he doesn't see the wheelchair just me
I had this album when I was 3 years old
I wish shamans harvest could do a cover of this song! Big&rich is awesome as well!
Horse of a different cover was the ONLY Big and Rich CD that I burned at a friend’s house instead of buying. I’d hear them thanking me for buying it and couldn’t help but chuckle.
Reminds me of losing my daughter
Love this song. Really got me throw life so far😀
Last time I heard this, I was 5 or 6, after 10 Years I finally found this song. I’m so happy.
I cry every time I hear this song
Love this song. Love this entire album. It stands alone without compare, and I don't even really like country music.

Love them! They have 0 bad songs! This album is my favorite! I use to live in Sturgis S.D. so they are very special to me :-)
I'm not religious but this song really makes me stronger and ready for whatever comes next.
I'm not a religious person, but this song gave me chills.
haha not as much as ur wife neither bitch
Awesome song. Powerful, don't know what else to say.
I've never really been the religious type, but this song has always given me chills. I grew up listening to them and their songs still haven't gotten old. I'd say this is my favorite song right next to 2:45 am by Elliott Smith!
this shit sucks.!!
Not as much as your daddy lmao
This song makes you think...
how could 28 people not like this
Sam Gordon not a clue, not religious myself but still one of my favorites. it's whole, warming, a good song with a story.
Just when I thought hiring Pat Garrett was kewl, you amaze again.
what the fuck happened to country

God's grace by faith in Jesus, happened.
I totally agree with that

I love this song. It makes me happy to see my grandpa sing along.
I'm not religious but I still love this song. The tune is excellent, and I get the point the singer is putting across.
I have a vague memory of this song from my moms mp3 player when I was going, and now I just found it, and I am loving it :D
this song is incredible
doesn't matter if you believe in god or an afterlife, still the perfect motto to follow and told in a great song with beautiful harmony.

this song really hits home for me in many ways
i;m not using my account but he's my uncle and i love the fact that he's gonna teach all the none christian people that god's real
Not everybody has to be Christian or believe in God. People are going to have different religions and believe in different higher powers. Deal with it.
Oh the memories that this song brings back, both good and bad.
Alexandra Luster This song makes me cry because it is on my grandpas memory tape and it’s been 6 years already but it just seems like he passed yesterday. Your comment is very true.
I love this song it reminds me that my grandma may not be alive but she is still with me.
Superb harmonizing,
Here is what its about: I met a guy in Walmart in a wheelchair trying to get something out of the frozen food doors to open and reach up. I asked him if I could help and he said "no its OK". I just said, ya know what, been there done that and its not easy but I get it now, what its like. My back bothered me a lot. He explained how his friend tried to redesign his w/c. . .to help reach for things. I just said "Its ok." If you need help its ok and if not, that's ok too. I just ask having been there, done that and personally some things were really tough for me, to do"
He liked it. He's not the only one in a wheelchair. Nice guy with birth defects that disabled him. So, God shows up somehow, in the strangest ways, right in the ice cream department of the frozen foods. Nobody feels ashamed. God loves ice cream . . absolutely.
He sure loves you too!
@Jackie Russell: so are those angles obtuse or acute?
I saw his typo and my brain made the same exact joke, but I decided not to post it. Scrolled down a bit further and bammer
I feel my angles around me stronger than ever when ever i hear this song chills from my head to my toes throughout the entire song, i love it.
