This is really a good question! I love the sound of this song... but I still wonder what the video tries to show me. Is it a story about a a sect? A cult ? A philosophy? A way of life?

The song was written about/for Ben and his alcoholism, I believe, so perhaps the video is portraying being completely consumed by something (symbolised in the video as being possessed) and the people running away are perhaps symbolic of escaping a problem which would really be Ben overcoming drinking. The fact Simon is there waiting at the end could perhaps be linked to the lyrics,
'I would wait anywhere for you, would you wait for me?'
suggesting he is always there for Ben. That's pretty much my conclusion of the video, anyway.

Well one of the greatest things about Guitar Hero as a franchise is it helps bands reach new audiences, and instead of hating on it maybe be grateful that the game allowed this great song to reach a larger audience. Great song but it's disappointing that this bands music is so preachy and religious infused. Big turn off. Can't really take a religious band seriously. Cults aren't really my thing. Sorry. Still a good song and I gave it a thumbs up. I always assume European bands aren't religious since generally the European population are highly intelligent people hence why their religiosity percentages are so low. Oh well.

I've been a fan since coming across their album" puzzle" around five years ago, if you haven't listened to that album yet I strongly recommend it, it's an incredible album. their albums" vertigo of bliss" and" blackened sky" are both equally good albums, their early albums are very experimental both in their competition and vocals.
