My favorite part is when she sings" we got nothing to hit but the heights!" at 1:54 because with the way she's moving her arms and looking around it's like she's telling the universe to' bring it on, we got this', like she completely refuses to accept the idea of failing

Bette Midler is a great Madame Rose. She is one of the greatest to perform the role.

We sung this song for the broadway themed show that our school did. I was in 3rd grade (I think). Performing was mandatory (I think).
I'm pretty sure we butchered it adorably. I just remember being one of the shortest singers so I was in the front, yay.

Best video I have seen on this site. Bette Midler is great in this...not just singing but by portraying Mama Rose as she begins her downward spiral immediately following Baby June and the boys abandoning her after so many years.
