It’s weird how every different song that Alec makes, tells a different story, and gives me a different feeling. Boy in the Bubble gave me pity. Water Fountain gave me heartbreak. The Wolf and the Sheep literally gives me sadness and fear.

I think Jenny made a deal with a Faerie. young and foolish, she asked for immortality, and the 'wicked little boy' provided, putting on the façade of an honest human to lull her into a false sense of security. He promised she would live forever, taking something from her- her True Name, maybe- and she fell for his lies. However, as is always the case when dealing with the Fae, she lost more than she gained. Jenny saw her loved ones wither and die while she stayed timeless, forever nineteen. In despair, she tried to kill herself at ninety, and when it didn't work, she confronted the Faerie who gave her this curse, only for him to tell her she got exactly what she asked- to be timeless- and to shed his sheepskin, revealing himself to be Fae.
I don't know, that's my interpretation.
