Bee Gees - Red Chair Fade Away Lyrics

Red chair fade away
bring back memories

Think of something nice
Fragrant lemon trees
I can feel the speaking sky
I don't want to know
It's filling up the air
Grandpa's fairy tale
Red chair round the fire
Rainbows all the time
We're all going higher
I can feel the speaking sky
I don't want to know
It's filling up the air
Red chair fade away
Red chair fade away
Red chair fade away
Red chair fade away
Red chair fade away
Bring back memories

Think of something nice
Fragrant lemon trees
I can feel the speaking sky
I don't want to know
It's filling up the air
Red chair fade away....
Red chair fade away....

Bee Gees Red Chair Fade Away Comments
  1. T.... H....

This is the Bee Gees attempt at being psychedelic.

  2. J.... T....

Nearly even frightened to listen or to look at cover

    J.... T....

Photoshop makes me think I will look at it and it will be wrong

  3. K.... ....

  4. R.... L....

Sooooo I know a little bit of history of the Bee gees, but did they partake or at least experience just a little..?? Ha ha I'd be a little surprised but not completely

    R.... L....

    Who knows...

    R.... L....

@michael norris that's why I posted a question, I could research myself but I was curious if someone had a story, not a dumbass answer saying who knows.....

    R.... L....

Hope you find the answers you're looking for. Have a nice day!

  5. R.... O....

The Bee Gees’ spin on Strawberry Fields Forever!

    R.... O....

It's more commercial; more pop than Strawberry Fields. Very definitely post-Sgt Pepper, like everyone but the Beach Boys glommed onto at the time (Their Satanic Majesties Request and all those terrible American attempts, anyone?)

  6. A.... P....

    I love this song.

  7. D.... ....

Sounds like a hidden track on Sgt. Pepper's

    D.... ....

    dman5202 Fair enough.

  8. f.... s....

Acid years, colorful lyrics, flower power.....peyotes, LSD..... Dream on....

  9. M.... I....

Well, not their debut LP (that was two years' prior)... but they're the ones who gave this one the confusing title of "Bee Gees' First!" XD Their official biography nicknamed the album, more appropriately, "Bee Gees' Fourth."

  10. L.... A....

Geniales musicos, pura musica de los 60 y la psicodelia

  11. S.... ....

They don’t make them timeless like this anymore!

  12. x.... ....

    one of their greatest songs.

  13. J.... K....

Yeah, big thanks to Andy for tweeting this gem. SO great ...

  14. P.... ....

I'd go anywhere for Andy Partridge ;)

  15. G.... S....

Thumbs up if Andy Partridge sent you here…

  16. J.... L....

I've read somewhere that the Mellotron were lent them by John Lennon - maybe via Klaus Voorman?

  17. z.... ....

The flutes and violins are Mellotron.. That was Maurice's workings. Hear the Mellotron more with King Crimson and Moody Blues!

  18. g.... ....

Living in the shadow of the Beatles, as many were at the time.

  19. w.... ....

Their early stuff is often overshadowed by their disco stuff. But they made incredible Beatlesque music that sounds as fresh today as it did back then.

    w.... ....

Totally. Their Disco stuff put Robin on the back burner, which was a stupid idea tbh coz he was the gifted one.

    w.... ....

Caldera Records You said it all. It was almost criminal to shelve Robins awesome vocal talent! Love all of this very artistic songwriting of theirs....along with Robins early solo music as well. Simply Incredible.

  20. g.... ....

The real Psychedelia ! Bee Gees genius !!!

  21. M.... B....

    a Bee Gees masterpiece!

  22. a.... ....

oh oh,this is a real psychedelia!Using of flutes, hapsichord, very good 'bold' bass sound an of course Emulator keyboard,i think, makes this sound very unique, and a very 'flower-power-pop'.And of course Gibb brothers harmonies which are absolutely brilliant. This is much like The Hollies flower-power pop era recordings.
