Bee Gees - Every Christian Lion Hearted Man Will Show You Lyrics
Oh solo Dominique
Oh solo Dominique
Oh solo Dominique
Oh solo Dominique
Said he who stands
Behind the chair
A broken table there
Every Christian lion hearted man will show you
Every Christian lion hearted man will show you
Oh solo Dominique
Oh solo Dominique
Oh solo Dominique
Don't walk so tall
Before you crawl
For every child
Is thinking of something wild
Every Christian lion hearted man will show you
Every Christian lion hearted man will show you
Oh solo Dominique
Oh solo Dominique
Oh solo Dominique
Every Christian lion hearted man will show you
Every Christian lion hearted man will show you (will show you)
Oh solo Dominique
Oh solo Dominique
Oh solo Dominique

Bee Gees Every Christian Lion Hearted Man Will Show You Comments
One of there best songs ever and they had a bunch. Bee gees gold volume one was one of the best albums ever. This song is my favorite.
Hard to dance the Hustle to this.
Righhhttt. Because the bee gees "only" did disco.🙄 Do some research of the wide of scope of genres of music they did in their almost 50 years career as musicians.
@Eufemia Gallarde I have all of the BeeGees 60s recordings. It was a joke you fucking moron.
But here I am, on a 60s BeeGees tune on YouTube, so OBVIOUSLY I would already know that. Right?
RIP Maurice & Robin.
Aussie beat getting in on the pop rotation on AM radio with Robin Gibb and his brothers-
Oh and don't forget New York mining disaster tune as well
Very eerie and unholy like Astronomy Domine
Parts of this eerily sound like Joy Division.
Imagine that this band actually could make great music before their famous disco stuff. Ofcourse I like hits and great tunes, but I easily get tired of songs with boring style.
This is a really awesome Psych pop/rock tune, standout for sure on the album. Whole album is quite mediocre though in my terms of psych.
Still gives me chicken skin
Heard this on a Sirius XM station yesterday. I was floored when Kid Leo said it was a Bee Gees tune. Loved early, early Bee Gees, but I'd never heard this song before!
Injist heard this and im absolutely mind blown. Seems their music was just suppressed.
Anyone else conjure up images of King Arthur and the knights of the round table while listening to this?
1977 I was 13 years old laying on a bean chair with a headset on my ears with this song blasting amongst others. Misty mountain hop, Sympathy For the Devil...great music:, great times.
The incredible Bee Gees
I LOVE PLATE REVERB
One of the more psychedelic songs of 1967 probably not very well known though but very well done!
Full on Groovy!!! For another surprise, Try listen to Requiem by the Association.
I sampled it
"World" to me was another one of their more mysterious eerie songs
This tune belongs between Legend Of A Mind (Moody Blues) and Mirelle (Kayak)...maybe "Flying" by the Beatles and a dash of Phaedra era Tangerine Dream also
Just haunting!!!
This song was way ahead of it's time.
Amazing !
Very sophisticated.
My Favorite Song in Saturday Night Fever!
This is a masterpiece. I can‘t understand why my friends don‘t like it...
They are probably JZ fans :-/
sgold I love the Bee Gees and I must confess I am too a fan of jazz.
goon moon brought me here
Does anyone remember that story about two men who once bought a Lion from Harrods store in London (yes that's right) and they called the lion christian? Now is this song about that or did they name the lion after this song?
Brian Smith Er I think it's based on the Jesus Christ beibg the Lion of Judah.
sounds like beatles!
My favorite BGs song , it TOTALLY blew me away when I heard it the first time on my car radio, WEBN , Cincinnati, Oh! I eventually bought an 8 track of the "Best of the BGs" and this song was on it! This is BEFORE they went disco and sang in falsetto! They were PHENOMINAL harmony singers! JR
bellissima
This sounds like beatles
Only better
It's a shame you have to search this stuff out for 27 years of my life I thought the bee gees were just disco I luckily found this but you would think it's a whole different band only the disco stuff gets airplay on oldies stations they don't even play To love somebody it's like they tried to bury this great music
Yep - I was like - this MUST be a different BEE GEES
Seriously dude. I literally couldn't believe the same band that made stayin alive made this. But you know how it is with music, the seekers find beautiful art everywhere forever :)
The disco came out when I was in short pants, never cared for it. Their old stuff is terrific, its played, I found it all years ago. Honestly now I dont even mind the disco Bee Gees! They were great then too. But, Disco still sucks!
@Narniagirl
You don't think Trump is being manipulated by people more powerful than he in the realm of oligarchs?
Girl ... get you head out your ass.
Alex Jones is just another one of their tools.
I will pray for you girl.
you so brilliantly worded my frustration of same topic Cheers!!!
This has such a shoegazing feel about it.
Brian Smith Yup!...You nailed it. It Does have that feeling about it. And it's a highly addictive sound to boot!
Well shoegaze is close to neo-psych and neo-psych is modern psych pop/rock. I think you will like the song ”the sailing ship” by Cryan’ shames.
Quite similar to this.
There is so much great Psych music from the 60’s and so many underrated full albums as well. This album and the one I recommended however are far away from my top 100 list of the 60’s, but great songs though.
Fuck "shoegazing". I think you have it backwards. "Shoegazing" ripped off the Bee Gees maybe?
Nearly 50 years old... Maybe, One of the, best "Rock" albums of all time? Will it be celebrated as such? An interesting question?
RIP Robin, Maurice & Andy.
The,,,,,, Trip brought me here......
Very Moody Blues, due mostly to the Mellotron probably.
The mellotron is one of the coolest instruments ever created. i wish i had one
The B-side of "Holiday." I had the single.
Ignatz Mouse oooh you're Holiday, such a holiday peep peep peep peep peep peep
This sounds like a precursor to shoe gazing.
The other Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Yes. Not to mention they were released in the same year: 1967...
And Days of Future Passed by The Moody Blues
The Beach Boys were the first "other Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", only they were BEFORE Sgt Pepper's.
Ask Ringo and Paul.
Holy fuck they sounded like The Beatles
I thought they were the beatles under a pseudonym when they started out....
Man, can these brothers reach across the genres of music at will...or What? Very creative and not afraid to experiment!!😉 Cool-azz song to be sure!
the title fits so pretty well in our days :D
i am not interested in the Group of the G B
got Best of Bee Gees April 1980 at rock and roll flea market and film at hotel in Times Square in NYC....first time I heard this song....very Moody Bluesish..what an amazing song from Bee Gees 1st in 1967 what a great album plus 3 top 20 singles!
Wow, I hadn't heard this before. Very Beatley. Love it!
expectacular graciass
Wholeheartedly agree with Croxley Educator's comment from 4 years ago - full on 1967 psychedelic strength. And the mellotron backing up against the brothers Gregorian chants. Absolutely stunning. The song sounds as fresh today as in 1967 - a testimony to the production skills of the recording engineers working with a glorious 4-track mixing board
flip this out of phase for pure vocals!
when Bee Gees were psychedelic
Patricia, you are hot, add me on snap?
Patricia2Paris1 well, kinda psychedelic lol
Il più bell'album dei Bee Gees!
I love the mellontron on this song
I do too....says another Volusia County fan, that's who.
such quality!
Barry Gibb is the King !!!
songboy765 only Robin.
Maurice Gibb played Mellotron on this. Amazing song for a first album.
great arrangement ............ well done!
It's says "1st" on the album cover lol! It's the first one after Robert Stigwood discovered them. So it's considered the 1st Bee Gees album thus the name "Bee Gees 1st" you will have to argue with Robert Stigwood.
This is the Bee Gees' third studio album. It's called "1st" because it was the band's first work to be released internationally. The two previous albums ("The Bee Gees Sing and Play 14 Barry Gibb Songs" and "Spicks and Specks") were only released in Australia and, as a result, are little known to the public until today...
Alan Miguel hhmmmm, it's kinda like Atomic Rooster 4, which is actually their 5th. I can't figure that one out...
They just knew what sounded right and when to sing so much better than most!
When I see and hear the current crop of musical hacks like Miley Cyrus on the TV/radio today I thank dear God that I still have the the music of the past the listen to like his great song here....where the REAL musical talent was and still is. Thanks for posting!
Phayzyre105
Absolutely - I love those swirling productions...phasing, backwards stuff, weird sounds...Green Circles by The Small Faces, Rainbow Chaser by Nirvana...the list goes on !
reminds me a lot of being in cornwall at that time. such a good period for pop/psychedelic crossovers, with swirling phased sounds, neil blunstone mcarthur, cat stevens, keith west, hollies butterfly, etc.
One of the best songs by one of the best groups of all time.
Psicodelic
the whole album was great this and isreal will always be my favorite bee gees albums
+rj89 Israel was a song from the "Trafalgar" album !
The Bee Gees did so much incredible music since this one, yet this is right up there for me as their greatest especially this masterpiece. Why did the brothers Gibb rarely mention the other 2 guys on this album, which is a very Beatlesque album. Thank for posting
And to think they did that 10 years before David Bowie came out with Low!
wow.....love the Melotron in this song
Some of their best works were on "B" sides, and this stands right up there with the best of them. The use of the Gregorian chant against the mellotron is highly imaginative.
and mindbendingly mesmoreizing
never understood what lies behind hte lyrics, and this everlasting title song----same for IOIO: any meaning ? RIP R H Gibb
RIP, Mr. Gibb.
GBGdevotie Which one?
Brave Sir Robin Both Maurice and Robin.
RIP Robin Gibb...
MELLOTRONS ROCK, BABY!
Bee Gees at full-on 1967 psychedelic strength.....file next to 'Hole In My Shoe' and 'Strawberry Fields Forever'. Fab, and indeed groovy......
