Was there a special edition exclusive release of this album, and I just missed it or something? This track isn't on my CD. I just looked. It's nowhere to be found on the track listing.

Nuclear Blast often varies the tracks released in different countries, this one's not on the USA version, but on some others.

Heard "Eternal Fire" randomly an hour ago and thought "Wait, is this Battle Beast?" Saw it was by a band called Beast in Black and thought "Oh. So it's just another Berserk band? I can really get behind this." And then realizing the creator was a songwriter from BB completed the story.

This song is a Berserk reference, yes. Primarily, it's about a character named "The Idea of Evil" who was prominently featured in a scrapped chapter in the middle of the Eclipse. #nospoilers, but this thing is what Void means when be says "the ungodly god born of man".

Well, after Miura published that chapter he went out of his way to have it removed from subsequent publications, as he felt it revealed too much of the universe too quickly. In his owb words "adding God to a story puts limits on the scope" or something to that effect. Basically, it's now dubiously canon at best. That's probably why they didn't include it.

Everyone just asking is this a Berserk reference... this song may be more open to be inspired by a few things. But just look at their band name... the album name. Track names: Zodd the Immortal, Fifth Angel. Clearly, Berserk is prominent with this majestic music.

Anton Kabanen was specifically a fan of Berserk AFAIK. The first few Battle Beast albums (the band which he founded if I heard right) were inspired by that too.

Yes, it actually talks about the so called "Lost chapter" (http://mossmanga.blogspot.com/2014/09/berserk-lost-chapter-1.html), which takes place as Griffit is transforming into Femto. During his astral travel he meets an entity called The Idea of Evil, basically a god of that world that people have created through their yearnings, wishes, and suffering. The song directly references those events.
