This album was the best because it had more then caleb on the insturments.. not saying their newer stuff isnt incredible. But this was the only album that had everyone in the band playing a part in the recodings. Everything except In Between, which im pretty sure was all only caleb. Starkingly different than every other track, and every other track is starkingly different than the rest of Beartooths work. Heavier, brighter, and so much more attacky. Hardcore punk masterpiece.

I wanted to buy a cd from silverstein for my car but best buy didn't have any of theirs. they did have this album though, and I knew I liked the songs I knew of from beartooth, so i decided to grab this cd.


it was like a special turn of events that made me fall in love with this group. I think it's destiny.

Isn't it crazy how a certain song can connect with you on so many levels. I'm not sure how other people feel when you actually find one of those rare songs but for me it's almost like (as crazy as this sounds) the person that wrote it knew me in a past life, alternate universe, or through some sort of telekinetic link. As unrealistic as that may be or may not be I still find that there are certain songs I've encountered in my life that make whatever life force that we have as humans start to burn within me. It's a good kind of burn though and the songs that do it are very few and far between. Another strange thing about it is that when I do listen to one of these songs it's like having an out of body experience because it takes me back to the place where I heard that song for the first time. They are probably near the top of the list as far as memories go because they are so vivid. I can recall the smells, taste, feelings, even the faces of people that were near plus every single emotion that I was feeling at that point in my life. Sorry to babble on for so long but I felt like I needed to declare my love for music and what has done in my life, I'm sure some people can relate...probably not on every aspect but a few lol.
