Honestly, this and Disease are the only songs, that i like from this album. I can hear a great bass line, interesting vocal surprise with whisper and screamo, like from Disgusting. No low down riffs, just a huge instruments, interesting cimbals and no low down screams. Also, that breakdown has a point and it fits in that track. Disease and Infection are the only songs, where i can hear bass line, shame...

In my opinion this track sums up the album perfectly. Not completely soft, but with poppy sounds winding their way through it. Really disappointed, every song seems predictable. What I loved about Beartooth during the Sick / Disgusting era was their raw yet catchy sound that reminded me so much of old school hardcore, with the amp sometimes making audible feedback setting them apart from other Post-Hardcore/Metalcore bands (I got really sick of the generic metalcore sound). The songs are still catchy but that's because it's always the same song structure. Vocal intro (or in some songs heavy guitar riffing), verse, chorus, verse, chorus, breakdown, chorus, heavy outro. There is just no edge to it and Beartooth starts to sound generic. Well, I see some of you really dig it and I'm fine with that but I will definetely be missing the old Beartooth.

I'm surprised this wasn't the first single. This is Beartooth right here! Perfect combination of screaming and clean vocals. I'm loving this album. I see a lot of people hating on it because it's not Disgusting. He had to try new things to grow as a musician and I think he's doing a great job.

@musics_my_life There's nothing weak about "Clever" though that's probably one of Caleb's best songs lyrical. It's not as raw as "Sick and Disgusting", but it gives a good inside view of how his depression makes him feel and think, and how he tries to hide it. Definitely hits home with other people who suffer from depression.

Tbh Disgusting was sick but this isnf too bad it's still a bop

I feel as though Disgusting focused on the melody, whereas this album relies more on heaviness. Both have their place, I myself can't decide what's better. Love the texts, feels like a kindred spirit communicating my unspoken inner turmoil.
