Winter 2014~2015: I was studying abroad in Syracuse-US. Such a wonderful experience to see, walk, play around and get annoyed by snow. Certainly, beign away from home, friends and everything I was close to was a big event in my life. I learnt a lot about myself. This song was the most played from my Spotify playlist -- and one of the most watched in youtube. This video is breathtaking. The melody today is full of nostalgia.

ikr all the bands i like have alot of good song but shitty songs too. I love all the songs by the beach fossils and I'm not just saying that because imma slave to the band. I never thought i'd come come across a band with no shitty songs. Amazing!

Though few of these bands actually are independent. Radiohead are actually an independent band. I could go on forever explaining why people like certain types of music as opposed to others, but I really don't have time and I doubt anyone really cares haha.

Because indie is a very ambiguous genre.Unlike the late 80s and early 90s when there was a genre and name for everything (Shoegaze, Greebo, Math Rock, Acid, Manchester Rock...etc) Indie, and Alternative Rock is just a complete mix of musical styles that people can't pin as rock, pop (even though all non-experimental or classical music is technically pop), rap, R&B, hip hop, country, folk, ethnic or bluegrass and so on. Indie has nothing or little to do with it.

You must be kidding. I've heard em all. It's how it's all put together. Beach Fossils are too forgettable. Lost in the wash.

You must be kiddin... If you heard Tennis' last songs, it's a pure and crystal clear shit. Three notes, one Drum beat, and a push of synths, might be strong for the twats.

Tennis and The Drums have way more strong songs than Beach Fossils. I haven't found a strong song from Beach Fossils yet. They're ok. This is the best one of theirs I've heard so far, but still below The Drums and Tennis in songsmithery.
