Basement - Fading Lyrics
Rain falls hard, washes me away. I feel sick.
I feel sick, so empty, so ordinary.
In my head I heard you call my name.
I'm breaking down I'm fading.
And everything I had will fall apart.

Check out the new Fiddlehead (members of Basement and Have Heart) song "Lay Low", off their album 'Springtime and Blind' out April 13th, 2018. https://youtu.be/HkFgR1rf8dY
Cause everything I had will fall apart.
this is definitely Nirvana inspired
Nothing about this sounds like nirvana
@Sheldon Benton if you've listened to Nirvana you know this was inspired by them. I didn't say it sounded like then I said it was inspired by them. Big difference
I'm Normal ssshhhhhhhhh❤
Indirectly probably
Whaduhsihdo who is Nirvana?
Fuckin song is therapy to me.
i agree
@FedbergRoland Any bands off Run for Cover Records is just as good, if not better.
@***** Don't forget Superheaven.
@Sam Barnes Title Fight, Turnstile
Title Fight isn't on RFC, they're signed to ANTI-Records. And before that Side One Dummy. They only released their first album with RFC.
Pity Sex was great
my favorite songs from them are always 2 minutes :/
is the intro from this taken from something orrr?
I think it's an old James Bond movie, 60's or 70's James Bond.
Actually it's from an affair to remember a movie released in 1957
Sounds like Cary Grant
Favorite song
straight
i think it was a joke, you stupid idiot! lets box!
dang i farted
carey grant
Are you really picking fights on Youtube? How pathetic.
The one who ruins sarcasm is the one who takes it for real
That's a bit extreme for sarcasm, man. You kinda ruined it.
Sarcasm fails you
settle down
Yesss I found this and it bettered my life.
'cause in my head i heard you call my name..i'm breaking down i'm fading...
best chorus ever
Something is seriously wrong in this world. when i type in "Fading" in the youtube search bar, all that comes up is some shitty Rihanna song.
Listen to attack attacks new song and vocalist. Point proven, they suck donkey ****
Pretty sad to make fun of Attack Attack just to insult a person... I don't listen to them, but I respect those that do... So sad.
Singer reminds me of a mix between Eddie Velder and Jason Wade for some reason
go listen to your attack attack shit
whoa man that's not a genre!
Props from Cali. I love this band.
Yeah I completely agree. They really are almost an unknown band but I remember they sent me a request back in MySpace days and they're so goddam good.
you get the biggest internet bro fist i can give you for knowing them, id say they are one of the most under appreciated bands i can think of, up there with penfold on how under appreciated they are
Lipona is sooo fucking sick!
I FEEEEL SEHK. SO EMPTEEEEH. SO ORDERHNREEEEH
oh pls die.
Killing for Basement tickets in London on November 17th! Message me if you've got minimum two for sale!
agreed, though title fight really takes some time to get used to.
Balance and composure is by far one of the most talented bands to come out of the past 10 years, id say them basement and this borderline unknown band called lipona are by far the best 3 bands in the post 2005 timespan
title fight is a really good one, the story so far, balance and composure, tigers jaw are really good bands too
This entire album is so good, I normally listen to this kinda music and upwards as in more hardcore-ish. Does anyone know any other bands similar to this, if I remember right , Title fight is one of them, aye?
Cheers.
It's called "An Affair to Remember" starring the great Cary Grant.
It makes me so sad that they broke up..
I can just listen to this music and jerk off to it. thats how much i like it.....
its serious
I have to listen to this to start of my day, if i don't things just don't go right :/
i agree with private joker, this band sounds more like early 90's emo. maybe a mix of sunny day and title fight. even though title fight sounds alot like lifetime (another early emo band). i dont get why kids are calling it pop punk now a days..
Okay John Lennon, I'm sure you're the master of all music but Title Fight are very similar to Basement. Look more into music before you go spewing shit.
Basement >
pff, they are better than title fight.
People say they're a british title fight, soo good!
Not bad.... It's always funny to see pop punkers use the word nigga and try to act hard, your fighting over pop punk assholes,
@Trustguy5 Ayo nigga gez at meh... mai boiz gonna fack u up so bod u cumdampstar! EDIAT!
@Trustguy5 Ayo U iz a batti N ediat... imma shank yus ass back to momma!
@Trustguy5 What the fuck guy what's ur problem? Wanna scrap?!
I just gave these guys a listen and I already have them on repeat.
They remind me a lot of Sunny Day Real Estate, Great song
