I’m usually to busy having the crap scared out of me by the foghorn, but I just noticed that right after he says: “I want to be consumed.”, he emphasizes the exhale and adds just a little bit of shakiness to it, and it makes that whole section have just that little touch of rapturousness. Everything about this song is just nailed.

I remember watching the premier stream for A Song That Never Ends, and everyone kept joking that "Floating" was about the ocean being full of floating corpses. Avi laughed about it. When I watched the premier stream and heard this song, I couldn't help but imagine he was inspired by the dark jokes about "Floating."

When you walk along a beach, if you should ever be so fortunate to see the White Ship, board it. It shall take you to a paradise. However, take care that you don't begin to crave the land unknown, that land where only the Divine may see and tread. Lest it be your body washing back ashore, never again to tread in paradise.

This belongs in death stranding... Or as it's known "Norman Reedus and his funky fetus"..

If only there were a song for Sotha Sil with a feel similar to this one. He's an... absurdly complex, intelligent, and surprisingly loving, character in a couple of games in the Elder Scrolls series.
Or, fuck, the Dark Brotherhood. Definitely them. Gods, fuck, yes, the Dark Brotherhood. Only one decent fan song for them. Shit, they are scary badass. A Family of psychopaths that are oddly warm and endearing. And with such interesting lore that I always ate up any books or information I could find on them in-game.

I think this is probably the song I listen to most, bar Monumental. The style and lyrics all have a soothing and give a peaceful feeling, with an underlying malice that is just perfect. Praise the good blood!

I love the philosophy that all of you thought of, but the moon's reflection actually does this in water in real life when its not too super cloudy. The reflection of the moon's light doesn't consider the small amount clouds in the way.

The top is the souls of the fishing people departing to the Dreamlands, and the bottom is a glimpse of "reality"; they are simply walking into the sea.

Or maybe it's the other way around. But you can't see the cloud of bones in the reflection.

@Xander Shullaw i think you're right the first time, cause in game by the time you got to the village with the orphan. I would assume you the player would have gone through the nightmare several times and even seen the great one itself. So it would make sense to be able to see the true horror more clearly then to see the half true horror that the average person would see. That's why I believe the "reflection" and "reality" have swapped positions in the picture

The Old hunters was the best dlc the soulsborne games ever made. Did they ever fully explain what the whole story behind it was? I just figured it was an amalgamation of all the things Gehrmain had done in his life. Hunting Kos, slaying his bloodmad allies and their monstrous forms, realizing what his proud hunters were becoming

I absolutely love that you are still making Bloodborne songs years after it's been released! It really just speaks volumes to how good the game is. Same with Demon's Souls. Really just all the Souls.

Amazing!! I just started playing Bloodborne again on a completely new character and I forgot how goddamn investing the game is! The lore and the endings are fucking amazing, especially when you rediscover awesome weapons and items all over again.
