This is an amazing song. Oh my god just so good.

This song really defines how I've felt over the past couple months. for years, I've been hiding the fact that I'm bisexual. with all of the controversy of religion and all that crap, I was scared of openly admitting it. but a couple of days ago, I officially came out to everyone I knew. before, this defined how I felt for the longest time:

After I came out, I was very surprised to see that my whole family (including cousins, aunts, and uncles) supported me. my dad even said that I was a braver person than he was. that moment meant the world to me, and this almost perfectly described how I felt in that moment:

You came and showed me I'm not on my own
I'm not that different, you've made me see
I've finally found someone like me"

Thinking that through while I was listening to it brought me to tears. It's just such a beautiful song!

There's not a damn thing with being gay or bisexual--it's who you are, and if people can't accept that, then they don't deserve to know you. One of my closed cousins is gay, and he's one of the strongest people I know. It scared him to come out, but he was glad when he did. It's people like you, who are brave and come out, that should rule the world.

Mando was certainly a great addition to this song. That last time that he says "Someone like me" just completes the song. This song is now more fun than ever to sing along to. In fact I find myself adding that part in whenever I sing along to the original.
