Audrey Assad - Immanuel's Land Lyrics

O Christ He is a fountain, a deep sweet well of love
The streams that I have tasted, more deep I'll drink above
And fuller than the ocean, His mercy does expand

Glory, glory, in Immanuel's land
Oh, glory, glory, glory, in Immanuel's land

Oh, I am my Beloved's, and my Beloved's mine
He brings this weary sinner into His house of wine
I stand upon His merit, I know no other stand

Glory, glory, in Immanuel's land
Oh, glory, glory, glory, in Immanuel's land

A bride eyes not her garment but her dear bridegroom's face
I will not gaze at glory but on my King of grace
Not at the crown He gives me but on His pierced hand!

Glory, glory, in Immanuel's land
Oh, glory, glory, glory, in Immanuel's land
Glory, glory, in Immanuel's land
Oh, glory, glory, glory, in Immanuel's land
Oh, glory, glory, in Immanuel's land
Oh, glory, glory, glory, in Immanuel's land
Oh, glory, glory, in Immanuel's land
Oh, glory, glory, glory, in Immanuel's land!

Audrey, beautiful song, beautiful voice--truly inspired.
After a night of planning for a Children's Mission's Conference, I woke up in the morning and taking care of our toddler when "Immanuel's Land" was the first song that came on Pandora (while listening to the Selah station). And all of the sudden it clicked for me--the nations of the world are all Immanuel's land. He formed them, He created them, and they belong to Him.

And then what came to mind was a children's processional with flags, starting with a young girl bringing the American flag up to the stage, waving it, and then getting a friend, and then they would get more friends with flags from other nations and that it would be a symbol of how missionaries are sent out from the United States to love on Nigeria, to love on German, South Korea, France, Ecuador, Chile, China, Romania and all of the nations around the world.
Here is a link to the service during the mission's conference at East Auburn Baptist Church. The song and children's processional begins just before the 11 minute mark. What you can't see on the video is that there are children with flags behind the various exit doors to the right and left and rear entrances of the sanctuary:

O Christ, He is a fountain: a deep sweet well of love.
The streams that I have tasted
    More deep I’ll drink above.
    And fuller than the ocean His mercy does expand;
    Glory, glory in Immanuel's land

I am my Beloved’s and my Beloved’s mine
    He brings this weary sinner
    Into His house of wine.
I stand upon His merit—I know no other stand
    Glory, glory in Immanuel's land

A bride eyes not her garment
    but her dear bridegroom’s face
I will not gaze at glory but on my King of grace.
Not at the crown He gives me
    but on His pierced hand—
    Glory, glory in Immanuel's land
    Glory, glory in Immanuel’s land

    Absolutely beautiful

Beautiful. I'm so grateful for gifted artists like Audrey reminding us of some of the treasures we may have long forgotten - the rich legacy left to us from the generations of saints who went before...

Is there any way I can get the lyrics and the chords for this song please??

Lidia A Alia the lyrics are from a poem by Anne R Cousin, Immanuel’s Land. But, it has also been made into a hymn, “The Sands of Time are Sinking.” She has a collection of poems available online, it is hard to find. I also made a song inspired by Immanuel’s Land: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Alpb7CQrrQE

I love this song, and I really enjoy this rendition! Audrey is one of my most favorite artists, because you can tell she's personally praises, worshipping, and even praying to God in her music. Awesome!
