This song is so well written both musically and lyrically. Every time I listen to this song I can feel that lost feeling of home as time passes, places change, but memories still remain. Probably one of my favourite As It Is songs, and definitely one of my favourite songs of all time.

I get a Yellowcard vibe from this song. I like it.

Decent but a pretty generic album

Of course. Same way with a lot of metal bands I listen to. Though....this really does have like, a lack of trying to it. It feels like they just followed the same arithmetic for every song. I love the first album, and the singles from this album tho. Problems with listening to too many genres and bands in said genres, you get REALLY finicky without wanting to.

As with any music. I wouldn't discourage people from listening to music no matter what I think.

MrZeroFaith I agree with you, I too think it's more likely and sounds like the sea. However, "if nothing else, I have to see" could make sense in some contexts.

Can someone tell me what the album cover art represents.
So far, the streaming pics shows the mother is digging her own grave, the father throwing a grenade to his son like it's baseball, a guy in a HAZMAT suit, and a the whole family eating a picnic where the food is covered in flies. Is it supposed to represent the opposition of Happy Co. or something.

The artwork is supposed to represent the clique happy family from like the 60s, but it is supposed to have a deeper darker meaning if you look closer at it. Such as a boy playing catch with a grenade. They described it as how their music is like, it sounds happy and upbeat but the songs are actually really dark and sad. They describe it better on their livestream "The Happy Co. Show" which is on the fearless records channel, they perform songs and answer questions from fans. One of the questions was the one you just asked, so if my answer wasn't good enough or unclear just watch that.

TheRichRoom the way i interpreted it is pretending everythings okay (hence the album name) and going well where which is why the characters look cheery but inside its not going okay at all but you dont show that hence the digging the grave, throwing the grenade etc

I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of As It Is, but this song is really doing it for me right now. It's giving me the same feelings that songs like "Ocean Avenue" by Yellowcard did back in the day when songs like this were still popular on mainstream radio. It was always songs like this that had my heart; even back then before I knew anything about music and genres, I knew I was a pop punk kid in my heart lol
