MST its fair for you to express your dislike of the music, but Id encourage you to come back to a variety of edm when you are in a different mood or perhaps feel bored with progressive metal, rather than writing it off completely. Im confident that there is something for everyone. As someone who was a diehard extreme metal fan for a long time, I can assure you that there are types of edm that can satisfy your craving for heaviness, and that there will be new, exciting sounds for you to explore if you reach the limits of your interest in metal.
