Now it's not that AM is outright terrible, just incredibly disappointing.

This and 'R U Mine' express what could've been.

With that in mind, I would say Alex Turner writes much rounder melodies than Jack White--with Turner being a student of the great melodist Noel Gallagher. Turner's back catalogue is by far more diverse/eclectic than Whites, imo. He's written so many good songs, and is a criminally underrated Lead Guitarist and composer, though White does edge him out by a healthy snuff in this category. But, in the end, it's what does you in personally. Have a good one la. Cheers.
