I've never posted anything online in my life, but I've had about enough. Just curious as to how much any of you knew about this case before watching the documentary. It would seem typical that a bunch of over-educated, self-indulgent "artists" would jump on the old bandwagon when they have know idea what actually happened with this case. This was a six-week trial with hundreds of pieces of evidence, plus a confession, that the jury based its conviction on. The documentary only mentioned a couple of pieces of evidence. It's over-educated hacks like you and the idiots that put this documentary together that are making life in Wisconsin a real joy lately, being reminded every day of a horrific occurrence. Thanks guys, keep up the good work. P.S., I used to like the Black Keys before you started taking shots at Justin Bieber while pumping out crappy commercial music just like his. Enjoy the millions of dollars, hypocrites.

+Tom Beschta and what makes you an authority on the case? The band like millions of people with Netflix have seen the injustice and in some cases been inspired to do something about it. Bands make music, people make petitions etc. fyi The Black Keys have evolved, where as you have not.

+Jimmy James I am by no means an authority, just someone who heard the details of the case as it was actually happening. I love freedom of speech, but I wish people would take the time to learn what they are talking about before exercising that right. Speech is one thing. Speech backed up by actual facts is another thing. I think it's great that bands like The Arcs have the ability to write a song like this because that is true freedom. However, maybe if they did a little research into this thing for themselves and didn't base their opinions solely on the limited details in this documentary and the media's coverage of this mess, the song might sound different. And as far as The Black Keys evolving, you are right, they have evolved. They have evolved into mainstream musicians, producing mainstream crap. That is fine by me, plenty of artists do it. Go make your money and keep your mouth shut. But like most artists, they try to cover their cash-grab genre change with the classic "evolving-musician" argument, saying it's only about the music and that what they are doing is better than say, Justin Bieber. That, my friend, is what I don't like. With that I am out of here. It was nice talking to you.

This is another example of a "documentary" written from a biased point of view. I'd like to think +Tom Beschta and myself both being from Wisconsin and having heard about this everyday when the trial was going on and now again continually for the last week plus would have, though both not claiming any complete expertise by any means, an idea of what's going on. If you dig hard enough there can always be something that can be twisted to look like evidence was "planted" or "tampered" with. That's the job of the defense team, create doubt. Plus what generates more money/publicity, a "documentary" about someone rightfully convicted or a one that is full of conspiracy and a wrongful conviction? I just ask that the opinions be based on more than this "documentary".

even if Steven and or Brendan committed the horrific homicide there is clear evidence of corruption, evidence planting, crime lab mistakes, etc... it was a painful series to watch. what's even more painful is that the Halbach family doesn't know for certainty who killed her.

The truth will come out. it always does. if Law Enforcement that investigated took their time, and took the scope away from Steven, they could have had the opportunity to interview other suspects. And get creditability in evidence, or confession.

innocent until proven guilty. -the jury did not get all the info....

He deserves a new trial at least. They've been investigating the case, and how it got so corrupt. but it takes time, years sometimes. he may have done it, it not. Either way, a thorough investigation needs to be completed.

And, the Wisconsin law enforcement officers aren't all corrupt.. I believe a few are possibly in Manitowoc county. -if he did it, the sheriff's dept prob planted evidence because they were impatient and could not find any. I'm sure pressure was on.... I grew up here, not in Manitowoc CO. thankfully but I've heard some very scary things about the "pillars" of that community.

BTW_ anyone who watched the doc, you prob turned it off after 7/8 episodes and we're just sick like me.... this is a great song to listen to instead of silence....

There will be people coming forward, investigations, we'll get the truth eventually. it may take some time..... Have faith in law enforcement, the 99℅have doubts too and keep them awake.... just like any investigation, time is critical and very important.

if he's guilty he can rot in hell!! if innocent freed immediately, and paid! and justice should be brought to the people responsible..... the family most importantly and Steven deserve that.

claro, son sonidos muy diferentes, los keys son más directos, guitarra, bateria y voz (en teoría). rock blues puro y duro y los arcs son muchisimo más elaborados y me encanta ese estilo rock blues,marichi-pocho que tienen xD
