This should have been the lead single from the album. Arcade Fire has a weird habit of making the slowest songs on their records the lead single, I think they'd be more popular otherwise.

The chorus reminds me a bit of Radiohead, which is a great thing. One of their best songs for sure.

THIS SONG IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR IT FOREVER

I love this song but can someone explain to me what the shit is going on with the lead guitar in chorus?? It's nearly out of key, the bend sucks, and so up front in the mix. It doesn't make sense to me how it made it slipped passed their mixing engineer and their mastering engineer and made it onto the final record.

Friend of mine gave me this album and I was blown away by these songs. I had never heard of Arcade Fire before, never got a single recommendation from Spotify, iTunes, last.fm etc. for them. It is the ultimate failure of recommendation algorithms.

Globe Alone That's the thing with music. It's all relative. I heard this first and it's still my favorite by them. Although I also really love Suburbs and Funeral. Not sure why this album gets a bad rep. I think it's super sublime and incredibly mesmerizing. Especially the second part of it. It's like I'm in another world..it's just so great.
