I've known this band for so long, and only this year I started paying attention to the lyrics. It's actually stunning how they cover deep freaking depressing topics in such a light-hearted glossy wrapper, this song is one of the best examples

I don't think this songs has depressing lyrics, it's more an ironic eye on star-system

This is the most depressing song of my life. Why? The night my dog died, I had this CD in my CD player at the time and just left it on repeat all night. This song is forever embedded in my mind with that memory :(
