Andrea Bocelli Pour Mon Âme Comments
Why?.....
Really good performance, as always! Great Andrea
Bocelli is a pop singer, but he is much better than Rockwell Blake.
Who hurt him?
Bravo Andrea!!!...

uehh uehh regalategli un ciuccio!
I have heard better.
Complimenti : manca appoggio, sostegno, legato, apertura della gola, timbro. Preferisco Aldo Fabrizi quando canta "Lulù".
Grazie sei il mio idolo qualcuno che dice le cose come stanno
Did not think he had the high c'sbut he had them cleanly
A great crossover singer, but live the serious stuff to serious opera singers.
@Lauren T. ._.
Lauren T. He is, but this aria was sung really badly.
@Marco Benedetti Bocelli is not an opera singer.
@Martín well, being a singer, he actually sang operas in theaters a few times, so he is. Besides, if you ask me, I'm not a fan of Bocelli.
@Marco Benedetti It's ok but..Be an opera singer is something else than sing operas.
Listen to the great Javier Camarena! Authentic Tonio!!!
orrendo
HAHAHAHAHAHAJAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I laugh every time I hear people who say that he is one of the greatest tenors of all times.
Those people probably never listened to Kraus, Pavarotti, Gigli or Corelli
And if they did, they still haven't heard a top-class tenor. Would that you had written McCormack, Martinelli, Melchior, De Lucia! Those who have suffered Kraus will probably even find Helmut Lotti an improvement.....
Juan Diego florez the Best
Sebastiano Verna they say it because it’s true . Just saying .
Luciano Pavarotti is definitely the best...
Hurts my ears. JDF and Brownlee imo do this the best.
Have you heard Pavarotti or even Kraus?
Dio santo che orrore.
listen juan diego florez,, pavarotti, kraus!!!
Slightly less finesse than Juan Diego Florez, but very acceptable. Now would he be able to do this in a 3800 seat house like the Met and without a a mic?
All high C's were FANTASTIC..
He certainly has good breath support.
Magnificent!
bocelli may lack the power of the high c's that Pavarotti has, but he can still hit them. His voice is on the graceful, quiet side while other opera singers like Pavarotti pack the loud splendor and magnificence that make them better suited for high c's

Bocelli nearly took the roof off with those high notes, blows my mind!
Discusting, even worst that i do... share the same opinion beside, leave this repertoire to people that are properly trained and primed to perform it
He had the voice and the talent to become a nice lyric-leggiero tenor. He could've become a Pavarotti (same repertoire). He just lacks of a proper technique for that. It's a pitty, with such a beautiful voice and taste. I like Bocelli on pop, lyric-pop songs. But he kills opera arias, he should stop singing them for God's sake.
@Emil Elias I actually really love his E Lucevan Le Stele.
@Navid Namini You're entitled to your own opinion. It's not that I don't like it. It just was not written for his voice. It's more for a dramatic/spinto tenor. And I'm a dogmatic person when it comes to opera.
Could Andrea have even been trained to sing any of the repertoire mentioned in this thread? I mean I just don’t think he was born with the type of voice to carry some of the heavy weight arias. He has a natural operatic tone but the voice lacks the width and depth of a true opera singer with or without any amount of training. He was still blessed with a beautiful sounding instrument
ARE YOU BUTT HURT LOL...
E' sempre un grande
Usually I don't begin by going after someone's grammar, but really, we are passed the third grade and should know the difference between their, there, and they're. Don't you agree? On top of your poor grammar, you also decided to use faulty logic. Saying that someone is not allowed to critique art because they are not at the same level as the artist is absurd. Next time you have something to say, just don't say it. That way you won't look so dumb.
servusdei2032 Their and there, OK But what about passed and past?
So what you are saying is that his value to art is based on how many people he can get to come see him perform? I would suggest that his value as an artist is based on his contributions to the art form itself. Screaming something for sold-out audiences doesn't really strike me as benefiting art very much. And saying that they are two different things is a little like saying "well, I have chosen to mow my lawn with a blender rather than a lawnmower simply because the blender can also do it."
their is a difference when you just like and love two different things he might be awful but he sells tickets can you say the same ?
For the love of god, stop parading this man through legitimate repertoire to sell tickets to armchair classical lovers ("I like classical music.....we had the theme from Ordinary People at our wedding...") when he has no ability to do it nor himself justice. Sing duets with Charlotte Church and Sarah Brightman, soar through the 7,456th (this week) rendition of the Schubert Ave Maria, and leave this repertoire to people that are properly trained and primed to perform it.
Hahahaha! This is laughable!
It's good for a crossover Singer.
I didn't know you could perform that poorly and sell tickets.
