The prominent thing wrong with the audio in this track is that her voice is compressed to the point that nuances aren't apparent. Her vocal range is also very limited, which doesn't help when the backing musical tracks outmatch the volume of her vocals. If this weren't a lyric video I would have a really hard time deciphering the words. Where her talent as a pianist in the past has evoked great amounts of emotion, this repetitive piano track falls flat. And, I would say all of this even without knowing the politically charged crisis she endured when Trump won the presidency, and how it was a heavy influence to this album. Maybe she should have written another song about winter, maybe snowflakes? The problem with anyone in the entertainment industry choosing a political side publicly is they alienate half of their fanbase. It hurts their record sales and they fall away into obscurity, but they have made their millions and they don't care. In the process the passion for good music suffers and the result is terrible music (see the last radio friendly song in the past 15-20 years).

I just cried, as someone who's delt with the pain of ptsd, anxiety, and depression from being bullied bad in school, I loved tori sense I heard the song Talula on the twister soundtrack her music helped me deal in different ways yet cause I was self consciousness at the time I was a kid and was being bullied I was "silent all these years" about being a fan of Tori till recently. This song is about healing and getting back to being you... I have been working on it.. still have hard days... I'm so glad this song was made!

roblex63 You do know that Tori has been making music for about the same amount of time as Kate Bush, right? Both started writing in the early 70s and although Kate released material first Tori was always performing throughout the 80s before releasing song after amazing song in the 90s and on. It's a rather boring comparison to talk about. Beyond their piano based songs, their music spreads in vastly different directions.

At first I was kind of bored but it just sort of slowly washes over you. Around minute 5 I felt like I was listening to something special.
