America - Catch That Train Lyrics

Well, I'm drivin' onward
Through the pourin' rain
There's a ticket waitin'
I gotta catch that train

The yellow racin' dreamboat
On California air
Single engine cowboy
Out in county fair

So, oh baby, hurry here to me
Oh baby, come see me
Oh baby, let the hours flee
Oh baby, come see

The silver clouds in August
Lover's names on trees
Imagine running water
You wadin' in knee deep

So, oh baby, hurry here to me
Oh baby, come see me
Oh baby, let the hours flee
Oh baby, come see

There's a world waitin'
Just for you to unfold
How are you to know
If you don't see, if you don't see

Those yellow racin' dreamboats
On California air
There's a ticket waitin'
I guess I'll catch you there
I guess I'll catch you there

So, oh baby, hurry here to me
Oh baby, come see me
Oh baby, let the hours flee
Oh baby, come see

(If you don't come) Oh baby, hurry here to me
Oh baby, come see me
(If you don't come) Oh baby, let the hours flee
Oh baby, come see

(If you don't come) Oh baby, hurry here to me
Oh baby, come see me
(If you don't come) Oh baby, let the hours flee
Oh baby, come see

(If you don't come)

  25. A.... I....

Que gran tema y muy buena musica solo para orejas de grueso calibre

  26. A.... I....

Hermoso tema y America una de las grandes bandas que marcaron una epoca y que hasta el dia de hoy todavia se escuchan sus hermosos temas

  27. H.... ....

this song makes me want to go out in the wilderness and make a fire with sticks

  28. P.... D....

Dewey Bunnell popularised the guitar major seventh chord and Neil Young took all the plaudits.! The guy is criminally underrated as a songwriter but, in my opinion, is up there with Dylan, Carole King, James Taylor, Fogelberg, etc. He didn't even write a duff track for the first 5 albums.

    P.... D....

    deweys the man

  29. S.... B....

  36. p.... ....

Great song from "Alibi" featuring harmonica from Norton Buffalo.

  37. C.... ....

It's not the radio stations who make the decissions It's their record companies who decide what will be cut as a pro-mo. Then it's the publics response to hear it more. But I agree..this should have been givin a try. Such a loss. But @ least WE know what sounds good;)

  38. D.... R....

    LOVELLY SONGGGGGGGGGG

  39. f.... ....

I was 4 Years old I Love this sound. Make me happy. Sorry for my bad english. Ciao from Italy.

  40. p.... p....

    fantastic..

  41. S.... S....

I don't know about in the US, but here in the UK, pop radio stations appear to be intended only for those under 21 years of age.

  42. a.... ....

I totally agree with you, a great song from a truly a great album.

  43. h.... ....

Another great America tune!! The radio stations should be ASHAMED for not playing this tune on the airwaves!!!
