This song really hits home my dad was in the military and he was murdered in 2013 till this day i still miss him and wish he was here

I've been a fan for a long time and I haven't really listened to most of her original songs but it wasn't just the lyrics that made me start crying it was the pictures too.. I have a teacher that taught me in the fifth grade who served our country and now I have no idea what happened to him. I miss him so much. He was like a second father to me.

Whenever I feel sick or annoyed at my family I listen to this song, and it makes me feel lucky to have these people in my lives ;)

I assume you're with Morgan Erskine? She made that rant on Facebook and then removed the status and the blog in which she said had this song, because I disproved her by mentioning how she could've easily changed the date and time of the blog to make it appear she wrote the song. Also, I bet those people who gave you those thumbs up were other people who believed her story.

August of 2010 my father retired from 34 years in service to his/mine/our country, he did everything in about 8 different branches, and that was the first time in well I was 12 or 13 and that was the first time I had my dad home for more then 3 days at a time. This song made me cry like there was no tomorrow, making me remember everything I saw and heard. Thank you to all the troops out there who sever our country for fighting for your families and mines lives everyday. God Bless America!!!1
