Great song and great album, 'Brothers and Sisters'.

A #2 hit for The Allman Brothers in the Fall of October 1973. It went to #1 on the Cash Box charts and to #12 on the Adult Contemporary charts. It went to #7 in Canada and to #15 on their AC charts. It went to #40 in Australia. I saw Gregg Allman on May 8, 1988, at The Boathouse in Norfolk, VA. Long Shot, a Southern Rock tribute band from Virginia Beach, opened.

This was always playing on a jukebox of a pizza place my dad took me to when I was a kid. Dad is long gone now, but everytime I hear this song I'm a kid having pizza with his dad again. Thanks for a wonderful memory Allman Brothers.

I'm a 58 year old Black man living in San Diego CA. I was rewatching "The Exorcist ", & this song came on in an early scene. I had to hear it. I grew up in New Haven Ct. 1960's-1990's & my mother would always listen to the Oldies radio station. This song was a favorite in New Haven in the 70's & 80's. I had NO IDEAL who the artist were .After the movie I used YouTube to find the song. I know squat about the Allman Brothers, ( I think some members may have died in a plane crash.) But, I L-O-V-E THIS SONG!!!! It reminds me of New Haven & Mom cooking & cleaning in the 70's & 1980's.

This specific mastering might've been released in 1989. Re-releases often add in small changes to distinguish them from previous releases.
