why are people confused by the lack of shirt? Drumming is physically intensive, and drum sets surround you and therefore playing one gets fucking hot.

I NEVER wear a shirt when I drum. It's a comfort thing. This is not a difficult concept.

Some people will never understand that, I'm afraid. I'm not a drummer, but I can imagine that it's a sweaty job. Also, depending on the shirt, it could hamper your movement.

But he is his own, just like Allen, and who else you named. The truth of the matter: When people indulge their icons, they can't really help how their product turns out. They don't know how to sound any other way. Be tired, but it's only fair to give their voice a chance to tell you something different.

I don't know, its like every time a white dude does the soul thing, their only clear influence is 70's Stevie Wonder. I'm tired of it. Robin Thicke, Tyrone Wells, etc, etc. I'm completely bored with it. The music just sounds like a less polished old Maroon 5. Daptone has nailed it, everything else just sounds like a soul caricature. Just my opinion.
