Sure miss Ezra's vocals. These vocal cyst feel monotone through the whole album no emotion. I know my opinion doesn't mean s*** but this was a great band once.

the performance, execution, and progressions
remind me of the first time i heard Maiden's "Somewhere in Time" or Death's "Leprosy" album way back when. Music performed by musicians not bullshitters or poseur scene wannabees.
Most bands, if they are gifted and lucky enough, end up with maybe one "ultimate" album that defines them and allows them to be remembered for that specific moment in time.
This album, in collaboration with all their previous epics, proves Allegaeon is encumbered by no such limitations.

SPECTACULAR! This further proves to all the ignorant naysayers who discredit our Allegaeon Virtuosos that these five professionals can produce some very intense and intricate music. Apoptosis was definitely worth the wait. I bought two copies for myself. Support these guys and go to their shows. Watching them perform is an experience that will leave an indelible memory forever carved into your psyche. No Body Does it Better. And most certainly not in this very unique yet brutally visceral genre of Death Metal.

Very rare. The vocals are the bread and butter of death metal. Some bands employ less growls than others. Try Alkaloid.

Saw these guys live on the Metal Blade anniversary tour. Cattle Decap and White Chapel were there as well. I hadn’t heard of them before, but trust me when I say, they stole the show. They were easily the best act of the night for me.
