We sing praise like many other religions but we don't do it because we have to, we do it because we love to, anyone who sees this message, if you are afraid to sing because you think you are a bad singer, ask God for that fear to fade away, the people around you may enjoy your singing, or they may not, but that doesn't matter because you are praising the Lord not the people sitting around you, I personally still do not think I'm a great singer but everyone around me says I am and I am also one of the leads of my youth groups praise team and I still think I'm not that great, doubt may always be there but try and fight it and someday it will go away. Also another please pray for me, I miss my church dearly, I haven't been able to go for about 5-6 months now and I hate it, I cry so much about it because I am growing impatient, please pray that God will show me his mercy and will teach me my lesson on why he has parted me temporarily so that I can overpower whatever my flaw is and that He will let me return to my church.

Just discovered you guys through a devotional I read! Wow what have I been missing?! 'Lord I Need You'

We often forget as Christians that our joy in songs like this comes to us as a gift because we've been born again and entered into the Kingdom Of God where such anthems excite and edify us.....those who are on the outside either by ignorance or choice......don't get this at all and are not meant to. This band and it's superb music and lyrics is a sweet savor, an elixir for those who haven chosen Christ. Let's just delight in that blessed truth.

I like this song and feel all the beauty but do not have enough evidence to see a god so I don't think that's true. an agnostic or atheist can feel all the same emotions as you listening to beautiful music. I guess the difference is you claim you know exactly where it's coming from (christian god) as does a militant atheist (chemical reactions in the material world) whereas I just don't know what it is. emotion and consciousness sure Is interesting, but please don't think you're the only people who understand beauty love and hope. that's a human experience not a Christian one.

Michael, its God who chooses us, not us Him. May He continue showing his face in your life, and soften your heart, and mine too because i've been so stubborn for so long, to Listen.


PS: One thing about the 'Chrisitan God', we are saying He is THE GOD. THE BEGINNING AND THE END. JEHOVAH. YAHWEH. I AM. HE THAT IS EVERYWHERE AND IN EVERYTHING. HE HAS A NAME. ITS NOT VAGUE, like the fake 'feel good' 'God' that has been preached for ages. Please show me another religion that is authoritative in this, like this God who is portrayed in Scripture. And in his infinite mercy and ways, he sent us one who is like Him, and in essence Him, to 'reiterate' this to us. To show us just but a glimpse of who He is. I have no option, even when deep in sin, to know and admit this. Because God, in his infinite ways and mercy and grace, chose to give me the gift of Faith. I got born again, this revelation, when reading a Bible. I've read all sorts of books. I know what am saying.
