I'm so sad I just now found out about this album. I bought the Emptiness and APWTSIS right when they came out and they have been some of my favorites. Also some commented about how they thought APWTSIS was a prequel to Emptiness or vice versa.

I personally always thought APWTSIS was after Emptiness and The Artist and was his experience of hell, as it was something like their version of Dante's Inferno. I think the band themselves said it was similar to Dante's Inferno. I may be wrong though.

Ahh, So I was half correct and made assumptions thanks.  I've never seen the Shaun Qoute, and how I interpreted the APWTSIS it seemed like he was experiencing his version of 'Hell" after The Emptiness.

so storywise, who is supposed to be singing this song? like is this in the point of view of Annabel or is it someone saying to Annabel that they can go back in time and fix things? if so, who is this person and why can he go through time?

Annabel. Based on the lyrics, I can say that the Artist is still alive but dying in this song, that's why there are some parts where it seems it's his point of view.

@Cameron O'Brien​ The story is not in the album, it will be uploaded online soon (hopefully). But no, I don't think they're travelling together, I'm pretty sure the story is gonna be Annabel travelling to the past to get back the Artist and stop him from going insane, and based on the album lyrics, he seems to die in the second song of the album, The Acolyte.

As you said, A Place Where The Sun Is Silent is a PREQUEL to the Emptiness. Meaning the story takes place before the Emptiness. Confessions is the continuation.

@BrightEyed Angel Correction. Confessions takes place at the SAME time as The Emptiness, only through Annabel's eyes rather than The Artist.
