Was SO happy to find a copy of the Target version of HaBL with this & 2 other bonus tracks on it 4 years after the original release date. I hadn’t known of the song being available til a bit of research when I heard it on YouTube. GREAT SONG!

Also, 'this time really we' is 'this timely leeway'. :)

Also I could be wrong, but I think it's 'when *ardour* was slow', not order. Maybe.

and "so much done by road" = "so much done by rote", "this neutral love" = "this new true north"

It could have been better but I agree with you. Several of the songs could be done with power and greatness but instead, we got harble and the last name of habs could be lame with the way it was done is a understatement.

i love all the songs on this album, can honestly say the one i have doesnt have this song on it but i love it, celebrity, numb, havoc...edge of evolution are my top favs then followed by the rest of the track list, awesome as always!

Hey guys search song lyrics .com for a more correct version of the lyrics. Still not completely perfect but much better than a lot of versions out there. This is among the most inspiring alanis songs of all time and makes more sense when some of the lyrics puzzle is put together, since so much of what she says in this song is tricky to decipher.

this song and Big sur or two of my favorite songs of all times and I am disappointed they weren't officially on the album and won't be singles. These would be great for the radio

I absolutely agree... permission should have been included on the album. Would have spawned grater sales, yet adhered to Her strict regime.

how on earth did she leave the hit single off of the album? lol this should certainly be on the album as well as "Big Sur" this Guy Sigsworth pop production fits her voice beautifully, but I'm not diffing the stuff Joe produced. overall the album is mixed decently but mastered horribly high and tin-y which is a shame, because "Flavors Of Entanglement" was perfect. they should have followed that blueprint
