damn it. just found this and a few other songs i didn't even know existed. i feel robbed and so disappointed that after all these years i missed out on these unreleased tracks. however, i'm so thrilled that i came across them now i have new songs for me to listen to. and yes this songs is powerful and I can relate to it as usual she writes songs that match my life perfectly. love this woman!

don't blame "her label" or "the music business" for these songs not being on the album, Alanis did this album WITHOUT a label and without a contract after her deal with Maverick ended following "Flavors Of Entanglement". she released the album on a small imprint called Collective Sounds in canada and licensed it to Sony in the USA. they asked for bonus tracks for the various american versions and she recorded a handful of extra songs. Guy Sigaworth mentioned it in an interview soon after how they ran back in and did some extra things. the only song that was recorded for "Havoc And Bright Lights" that didn't make the cut was a studio version of "Princes Familliar" that Guy Sigsworth begged her to record as he's loved it for years. she ultimately kept it off the album, much like she did to the original studio version which was recorded during the "Under Rug Swept" sessions

This is the first time I listen to this song and I wonder why the hell this was left out!!! it's amazing.

She leaves some of her BEST work off the album. Why would you not include this on the main track list of HABL? Why?

she is just that gifted, she knows her hard core fans will seek out the deluxe editions to her albums to get these songs

tantas canciones buenas y estan todas sueltas porque no las juntan a todas y hacen un cd que tenga 15 temas por lo menos con 12 no alcansan , este tema es un poco oscuro per esta bueno
