Alan Parsons Project, The - Too Close To The Sun Lyrics
There must be a thousand ways
Holding us within this maze
Every path we take leads us astray
Comfort me my only son
Till the day my work is done
And when the wind gets under these wings
You will feel what freedom brings
Stay right by me, walk don't run
I don't want you flying too close to the sun
Turn your eyes towards the light
Steal away in silent flight
The skies are calling out to you and me
Over sea and over land
Bring us safely to our destiny
And now the wind is under our wings
We can taste what freedom brings
Stay right by me, walk don't run
I don't want you flying too close to the sun
God forgive his fall from grace
The sea conceals his resting place
Can we learn to stay behind the line
If we have the means to fly
Some of us will surely die
Being reckless was his only crime
And now the wind is under our wings
We can taste what freedom brings
Stay right by me, walk don't run
I don't want you flying too close to the sun

AWSOME MUSIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY BLESSED MUSIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To Tomasz Toft:On those ancient times in Greece, they didn't knowall the things we know today about astronomy, so they thougt the sun was very clse to earth.
taking my soul far far away
I was never the same after coming across this masterpiece, wow just beautiful
this song is nothing less of a blessing
Surely Icarus flew a little to high but how can that be that it was close enough to the sun to burn his wings and fall to his death. He obviously didn't reach Venus's orbit. Don't really understand this myth, but this song is amazing!
When ever life is gettin way 2 stressful, I just take a hit or 2 of some dab & put the headphones on & crank this tune up on repeat 4 an hr. or 2. Works 4 me anyway. by 4 now
